Rooms need an update and a deeper clean. Our carpet was gross and there were bits of food on the floor near the bed. Shower didn't get very hot. We were next to the elevator and it was noisy.

Nice quiet area and plenty of restaurants with in a few miles of the hotel. Room was great very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great.

Checking in was easy and friendly. The room was clean, the hotel allowed us to check in early a nicely done easy check out service. The room was basic for a King deluxe. At cheaper hotels at least we had real coffee cups not paper. Breakfast was hot but much to offer. The rooms don't seem to be insulated the noise kept us awake most of the night. Some mechanical grinding would go off throughout the night. One could hear the people in the lobby during breakfast from the rooms, our stay in a hotel in Downtown Tampa the week before at half the rate was much better. This hotel is not near anything convenient.

Very nice room and great breakfast. But thats always what i get out of a Holiday Inn Express stay. Always my go to and never disappointed.

Holiday Inn Express is one of our favorite hotels. We stay tin their hotels across the country. This hotel was excellent except for cleanliness. Most areas were clean, but the elevator was filthy. Our bath tub had a red stain that I could not clean.

We stayed one night to attend my father’s funeral in Homosassa. We arrived very late, around 1am. After going into the room, we were immediately met with a strong urine smell. There was also a roach crawling in the bathroom. I informed the front desk and asked for another room. The hotel was completely sold out so we had to stay in the room. The front desk staff was extremely apologetic and provided air freshener spray. I tried to find other accommodations in the area but decided to stay since it was so late and it wouldn’t have been worth moving my family. I wouldn’t stay here again. I would stay a little further away to have access to better hotel chains.
