The location was further then anticipated. The room was exactly the same as shown in the ads.
Though yhe room we had selected was tiny, it was clean and the attached bathroom was big
However, the glass panel sitting on top of the side of bathtub isn't fixed, making getting in and out of the tub unsafe, as the glass panel is the only element that one could hold on to in order to step out of the tub. The receptionists weren't too interested in attenting to hotel guests.
But, overall experience was elevated due to its design/structure uniqueness; an ex-jail building. It's communal kitchen and lounge space were great space where we'd spent some of our time. There were also a lot of common shower rooms and WCs within the building, which was great as the 4 of us needn't queue for the washroom especially in the early morning.

超出意外地好，由監獄改為旅舍好特別。雖然2人房是上下格木床，但簡潔。又有私人衛浴，有共用廚房，廚房內冰箱，煮食爐，微波爐齊全。地點舊城區近葡萄園，景色美麗，前往火車站尚算方便，10分鐘行程，提行李箱來回火車站至旅舍尚算可以，舊城區行人路有大地磚方便有轆行李箱推行省力。職員有善。WiFi 5G強勁，住過不同旅舍，這間旅舍給予極好體驗。希望旅舍優質水準。我們期待下次入住體驗。

The room had everything you needed and was a really unique place to stay. The property was located perfectly to explore Chur, and in close proximity to the rail station. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

This was great find, I booked this hostel for one night as it looked like a fun place to stay for a different experience to our usual hotels. The rooms are fairy basic as you might expect if a hostel but equally they have everything you need and are super clean and comfy. Seemed to be popular with skiers and families. The building does carry noise but people staying were al respectful and we were not disturbed. Friendly reception who were helpful. We enjoyed our night in the cells 😉

Staying in a converted jail, was going to be a first for me and my friends! it was better than expected! What a fun idea and a great location. there was a common kitchen where it had everything you needed to have a simple breakfast or a complete dinner. it was close enough to the vessel of the town, but far enough away to not be disturbed. We had mentioned that we had people in our group that were allergic to feathers, and the room was changed to have no feather covers and pillows. Very comfortable beds, excellent and informative staff, all the privacy you need and excellent bathroom facilities. We would definitely recommend staying in jail! Book directly with the hotel- it’s easier.

We chose this place because, really, how often do y9ou get to stay in a prison? So there is the gee whiz factor, with thick original cell doors and the prison yard. And the warden sells beer. Everything very clean and works well. I am a bit perturbed by a picture which seems to be of 3 rats cavorting. We certainly saw no rodents or evidence of them, although had we seen this picture before booking it would certainly have affected our decision. We stayed 1 night and liked it.

Really great stay in a reformed prison! interesting building. We stayed in a double room which had updated and nice furnishings! bathroom was beautiful! Decently priced aswell! Really not far from the train station either and close to loads of restaurants and shops!

Hostel based in the top part of the centre of Chur. About 15 minute walk from the station through the town, you can get a bit lost through some of the winding streets, but the hostel sends instructions on how to find them. Excellent bathroom facilities and the room is fine. The bed was a bit difficult to get in and out of but it was all fine. The hostel was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and welcoming. There's a nice seating area to sit outside the hostel.

Really interesting hostel concept — the place is a converted jailhouse, and it still retains some of the original details, such as the heavy cell doors and metal bars. The rest has all been modernized. I stayed in a micro double room. It was sparse but well-appointed, with a comfortable bed, enough storage space, clean modern bathrooms, and basic toiletries like hairdryer, soap and towels. Above all the hostel owner Marco and his staff are incredibly friendly and were never short on tips of things to do in Chur.
