Hotel vicini a Willowbank Wildlife Reserve a Christchurch

An absolute gem of a motel. Do not give this one a miss. Peter met us at the airport ( last flight in) and took us to the motel. Super clean and comfy rooms, well equipped and all you need for a night or much longer. Rooms have a cute little patio onto a big garden area. We were picking up a camper the next morning and Peter dropped us off there after a delicious breakfast at a coffee shop he’d recommended. He and Tess work hard to make this a home from home. On top of that they are honestly the most lovely couple. You will be very, very happy you booked here.

Room not serviced on second day Found ants in room. Got told by reception they couldn't help and that I needed to go to countdown to get something Wifi was non-existent, along with bad phone coverage. had to go to reception if I want any connection at all Room was large with great view, even better view from bath and shower Restaurant meal was very nice and great staff Bar staff very friendly

Best park we have stayed in across NZ. The experience was seamless and professional from the moment we arrived to the moment we left 4 days later. Our flight arrived earlier from Australia and travelling with two young tired toddlers the staff were extremely accommodating in letting us check in earlier. We booked the three bedroom cabin and loved that it had been newly renovated from the kitchen to the bathroom to the bedrooms. I loved the themed NZ images they had around the cabin and it was spacious and very clean. A big highlight was the free amenities that this park offered. It has a new jumping pillow, playground and heated pool, which allowed our kids freedom to play and meet the other children travelling and staying in the park. They also that these really cool pedal bikes that we used (free) to cycle around the park. We were grateful that there was a petrol station and Burger king right out front which allowed us to get what we needed without driving into town after a long journey. The proximity to the airport was great, taking the pressure off us in regards to additional travel time. Would highly recommend and we look forward to returning.

Questo motel era grande, amichevole personale / proprietari, grande posizione, molto pulito e tempestivo e molto conveniente. La signora che ci ha controllati è andata in un migliaio di distanza per assicurarci che siamo felici di tutto, ci ha aiutati con i bagagli e ci ha anche comprato cioccolato nella nostra stanza. Grande motel, saremo tornati e sicuramente consigliamo agli altri. Grazie!

DATA DI TRASPORTO: Luglio 2023 Rimase qui per 10 giorni in viaggio d'affari. Camera e bagno erano grandi, ma i letti sono orribili. Non sono legati a una testa di letto e sono una base di ensemble solo per spostarsi. Ho dormito meglio in un motel a Timaru, che è una vergogna perché lavorare 10 ore, stare in un hotel 5*, si pensa che dormire come un bambino. Fortunatamente, la pressione alta della doccia e il bagno erano grandi, oltre a questo, il terreno dell’hotel è bellissimo con un ampio parcheggio. La mia camera aveva una veranda che mi piaceva sedere e guardare il traffico passeggiare. Avrei chiesto una microonde per mangiare preparazioni a causa del mio diabete e questo era lì prima di controllare in quale era grande. L'hotel è situato intorno all'angolo da un sacco di ristoranti e Westfield Ricccarton e vicino al parco di Hagley, che è stato grande per una passeggiata mattina. Ho provato il buffet del colazione nel ristorante il sabato e era insufficiente. Non ho finito di tornare indietro. Molte caffè in giro comunque. Tutti in alto, io apprezzo il mio soggiorno lì 4*. Le strutture erano grandi, le richieste erano soddisfatte con entusiasmo e il bagno era fantastico. La stanza stessa è ben progettata, ma il letto è terribile che detrae una stella. Ma restarei ancora con mia moglie, forse portare qualche *** per attaccare le gambe del letto per fermarli a muoversi!

Il proprietario era molto amichevole. La stanza, mentre un po' date, era grande per il prezzo - soprattutto con il bagno bagnato incluso. La stanza era anche senza spot. La città è un po' di distanza da passeggiata, ma il bagno lo rendeva tutto utile. Usa il telefono per il villaggio di Edgeware se dovete fare qualsiasi acquisto di prodotti alimentari.

This is one of the loveliest places I have ever stayed - it represents everything about the legendary New Zealand Hospitality that you have ever imagined. Run by the owner, Chet, who delivers a truly personal and welcoming experience for every guest. I stayed for four nights and every morning there was a breakfast banquet of fresh fruits, cereals, milks for everyone ( soy, oat , dairy) , freshly squeezed orange juice, freshly made coffee, hot toast and so many condiments to chose from . You sit round a large table which is social and interesting to find out what others are planning. On the one morning when I had a very early start, a breakfast was placed carefully outside my room for me to enjoy before setting off at 5.30am - such thoughtful service. My room was the little ‘sleep out’ which is a super cosy ensuite room with a lovely bed and excellent shower as well - set in the carefully designed courtyard, which has a lovely small pond and flowers and plants that clearly the local birds and bees really enjoy too. A very relaxing place to sit and unwind in after a busy day . In terms of location, when you arrive Chet takes you through a carefully, prepared map and gives you a link to a web page he has created full of useful tips and hints . The public bus system in Christchurch makes it very easy and cheap to get all over the place . Chet also offers a laundry service, but please remember this is not a laundromat, so you if you need something urgently then look for that, but if you have a day or two then your laundry is done and returned all very efficiently. So in summary, if you want to experience real New Zealand hospitality, look no further than Designer Cottage !
