Hotel a Christchurch, Nuova Zelanda

Il nostro hotel è stato aperto per 4 notti, è arrivato per la prima volta, la ricezione è stata abbastanza gentile ma non molto utile come qualsiasi personale di front desk potrebbe essere. La stanza era pulita e confortevole, la posizione era fantastica, l'ambiente era meraviglioso (molto, pochi ospiti caldi). Ma in qualche modo mia moglie ha perso l'anello di nozze dalla nostra stanza, e non ci siamo accorti che alla fine del giorno, e avremmo dovuto prendere l'orecchio. Il signor *********, il manager dell'hotel, ha reso ancora peggio dal punto di vista dei viaggiatori. Ha un atteggiamento peggiore verso l'intero incidente, invece di offrire la sua empatia, ha spinto la responsabilità verso gli ospiti dell'hotel che hanno perso l'anello di nozze nella sua stanza all'hotel. La sua aggressione passiva è in tutta la povera recensione di Google! Egli ha reagito con la sua brutta reazione quando ha chiesto di avere un CCTV diverso dal record di accesso alla porta che poteva fornire immediatamente, e ha acconsentito alla sua risposta e all’atteggiamento verso qualcuno che si è rivolto in camera per cercare solo l’anello scomparso. Non era amichevole, empatico, né benvenuto, nonostante sia nel settore dell'ospitalità. Non incolpo nessuno qui, né faccio accuse su nessuno, ma lui, come manager dell'hotel, è stato l'unico a cercare aiuto in un paese straniero, e ci aspettava di capire come funzionava la polizia e il sistema qui. Per noi, ci ha fatto sembrare *** e dimenticare le nostre proprietà.

La Ibis Christchurch ha un bel sentimento boutique. La sicurezza è grande come la porta anteriore chiude alle 10 e si usa la chiave della camera per entrare. La mia camera aveva un frigo, caldaia, toletta a parete e a/c (uraggio!). Per qualche motivo ho avuto una camera accessibile in diversi piani in entrambi i soggiorni dell'hotel. Il bagno è enorme, ma non vedo una sedia a rotelle nella sezione del dormitorio perché era un po' stretto vicino al letto. Il letto era comodo e la camera era pulita. Il pranzo era il prezzo usuale di marrone, funghi, pomodori, uova scramble, salsa, ham, prodotti dolci, cereali, frutta e succhi.Amo la macchina del caffè. Il nostro tour ha avuto una cena all'hotel, che consisteva di salate di frutta, zuppa di minestrone, pollo in salsa di funghi, cizi dolci e verdure decente. Non sono sicuro che il ristorante sia abitualmente aperto per cena e di cosa il loro menu consiste. La posizione dell'hotel è perfetta, in particolare il mercato Riverside. C'è un mini-mart & souvenir shop vicino alla porta, così come un piccolo supermercato metro a 5 minuti a piedi sulla strada Lichfield.

L'hotel è in una grande posizione, ma è un grande hotel. Il personale è molto piacevole e lo rendono più personale. Esso è vicino alle negozi, ristoranti/caffetteri, il tram e la maggior parte di quello che la città di Christchurch deve offrire. La stanza era abbastanza grande, ma sarebbe stato meglio avere una sedia extra. Non ci piacevano le mutande incomode e la copertura molto pesante del letto che dovevamo rimuovere. Non chiediamo di solito asciugare i tovaglioli puliti ogni giorno, ma non dovevamo appendere per asciugare abbastanza e nessuna asciugatrice elettrica come abbiamo avuto nella maggior parte degli altri hotel abbiamo soggiornato in NZ. In generale una piacevole soggiorno e nessun problema con il parcheggio valet.

How many adjectives can I use to explain our experience with this magnificent establishment? Beautiful, classy, pristine, welcoming, warm! It is a step back in time in the right way. They have encapsulated the essence of what the early 1900s may have been like with the bar staff being spot on, cheerful and skilled. The decor is grand, making you picture the pastimes grandeur. The pool and gym area are to die for and it takes on a different feel when u are beneath ground level. Our two bedroom suite was no less than perfect in every way. Bed comfy and huge, bathrooms on point. Even with a 12 yr child in tow, we were never made to feel less than welcomed and special. No road noise, no neighbouring sounds. Even the gentleman doing the early morning cleanup on the entrance was pleasant and helpful. Will return next time we visit Christchurch.

Accommodation is good. My criticism of the hotel is the customer service in the bar. Tiny pours of wine, barman kept calling me (female business traveller) ”dear” - didn't point out that the beer I ordered in happy hour (after I enquired which drinks were discounted) was not included in happy hour....As a lone female business traveller I want to feel welcome, not patronised. The whole point of hospitality staff is that they are hospitable and your staff seemed to not have really grasped how to do that. I frequently stay at Accor hotels and love the friendliness of the staff - (Pullman Rotorua is an example of excellent customer service). Christchurch was an anomaly.

Stayed four nights at this hotel which has a great location and within walking distance to most attractions and restaurants. Check in was good and paid parking plentiful. Unfortunately, the lift was not working on our arrival so we had to leave our luggage in our car and walk up to the third floor. The hotel is dated and grubby as was our room. There was a trolley of dirty towels and linen left in the hallway for over 24 hours during our visit, this is unacceptable! The bed was comfortable but the bathroom towels were very thin. One day we returned to our room at 4.00pm and the room was not made up. I understand the vacated rooms are made up first but after a full day of sightseeing, it would be good to return to a tidied room. I have stayed at various Quest hotels in Australia as I am a member but this is by far the worst. As such, I could not recommend this hotel to other travellers.

Proprio vicino alla piazza della cattedrale, molto conveniente, ci sono strade alimentari, tram, buon 👍

My room was not cleaned up despite me putting up a door notice for housekeeping for the day. When I returned to my room in the evening, I was told to my surprise that my booking did not include housekeeping. The website of Breakfree at Cashel mentioned housekeeping is available. I was not informed that my booking omitted this service. Furthermore, I was told to collect new towels by myself at the counter. I just don't feel the hotel is not up to the mark in this aspect. Other things I am not quite happy about is that the room space is too small for easy packing and unpacking of my luggage but I suppose I get what I paid for, which is ok. I have decided to move to other hotel for the rest of my journey in Christchurch for the above reasons .

Excellent location! So close to everything in the city centre, we used the valet parking service and didnt take the car out once!, we could easily walk everywhere. We stayed 3 nights in a 1 bedroom suite, which was nice and clean, well appointed, and with a super comfy bed. They even had a wee sewing kit and a toothbrush kit, which are definitely things we've needed on our travels! Facilities in the hotel were great and staff were very friendly and attentive. Quintin from concierge was so helpful, and helped make our stay extra special by organizing wine and platters and delivering balloons to our room for our arrival :) Breakfast was also really yummy. Thank you Fable Christchurch! We really enjoyed our stay :)

Hotel confortevole a Heart of City. Prenotato una stanza con punti come Gold Elite. Richiesta una stanza tranquilla e è stato nominato il terzo piano sopra le luci di traffico, così il ricevitore mi ha gentilmente trasferito in una stanza sul lato opposto. Le pareti sono sottili, ma sono molto rumorosi questa mattina. Le uova di servizio in camera erano eccellenti, come il servizio bar ieri sera. Sapevano come fare una bevanda buona. Ero un po' annoiato come un minibar ha colpito questa volta e ha detto che pensava che ci fosse ”Nessuno nella stanza” mentre ero in una chiamata. Non così professionale. Può raccomandare come un buon hotel a Christchurch (ho soggiornato in un po')
