Staff lovely and helpful and room clean and comfortable. Easy to walk to harbour and all the coffee shops

Perfectly located hotel for high street. Staff were friendly and check-in was very quick and easy. . Room was very clean, had everything we needed. Bed really comfy and good pillows. Bathroom had hand soap and shower gel. Shower did have a curtain but was a really good shower and very warm.

The location was good, with shops nearby, easy parking, which was chargeable. The room was warm and clean. Very clean bathroom. A quiet room, well insulated from noise. A great sleep. The staff were helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend to family and friends.

This is our second stay here the hotel is centrally located and although it doesn’t have a car park there two close by. The rooms are comfortable and reasonably priced. I did see a previous comment that there were no breakfast options close by which surprised me are there is a lovely selection with yards of the front door with everything from cooked breakfasts to coffee and croissants, I would recommend Cuckoos.

This Travelodge is centrally located in a shopping centre near a large roundabout. Because of the location it does not have its own car park. It is close to a well-priced public car park but you will need to walk a few hundred yards carrying your bags to get to the hotel and it's not very obvious how to get there. The location is quite quiet at night, however, and some of the rooms overlook the open air level of the car park which is pretty quiet early in the morning. The shower in our room was strong enough, wet enough and hot enough, and the bathroom, though tiny, was all we needed. It was generally clean, however the toilet smelt like it needed a good going over. My big gripe: no toilet brush! To ne that is an essential. The bed was comfortable, although the pillows were tending towards wadding up a bit into lumps. 2 USB sockets each side of the bed which was great. Otherwise, a more or less standard Travelodge experience. There was very little clothes storage, just a small rail with around 6 fixed hangers, so we lived out of our bags. This has been the same with the last 3 Travelodges we have stayed in. Perhaps it's a city centre Travelodge thing or a new room design as I don't remember encountering so little provision for clothing until my stays this year. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
