My husband and I were together for the winter holiday. We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We can’t say enough the host or hospitable the premises were nicely appointed. It was located close to a beautiful botanical gardens as well as a beautiful college campus as well as stores and restaurants. We would highly recommend anyone who would stay in the area to stay at this place. Be aware that it is not a hot breakfast.

本來開心滿滿的入住 結果前台一對小情侶感覺剛來 説不能接待我們 因為我們帶着孩子 是感激他們的法律 真的大無語。男前台後來開口説可以單獨給孩子開一間房 才能入住 而且房價巨貴。這是不接受孩子嗎？沒辦法 我們衹能臨時訂其他的酒店 至今還在跟代理溝通退款的事。出國這麼多年 第一次遇到歧視帶孩子的。

很一般的酒店，和民宿差不多，早餐沒什麼吃的，連吹風機也沒有，不靈

Jackie and Steve welcomed us very warmly and gave us great advice on local restaurants and places to visit. Nothing was too much trouble for them. It is in a great location and we were very comfortable there. Their breakfasts were delicious! We would recommend The Classic Villa without hesitation.

This is a fantastic place to stay in Christchurch in beautiful surroundings and close to restaurants and shopping. Our room (that's it in the photo) was stunning, spacious and beautifully decorated. The managers Steve and Jackie were terrific - personable but professional and very welcoming, as well as helpful about local suggestions. Breakfast was excellent.

We stayed at The Classic Villa for 3 nights during our holiday to New Zealand, and on arrival we were told that we had been 'upgraded' to the suite, which was a great suprise. The suite was superb. Very quiet, spotlessly clean, quiet, and comfortable. The main attractions in Christchurch were all a pleasant walk away. Jackie and her husband, were excellent, and very helpful, 'hosts' - it really felt more like a B and B than a hotel. Breakfast was very good, and we were absolutely delighted with everything about our stay. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the end of February for 3 nights .The villa is very central; walking distance to botanical gardens. It is a very beautiful and clean place . It has period features which I loved . The owners Jackie and her husband made our stay even more special ; they are a very lovely and helpful couple. If we go to Christchurch again, we would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful private hotel run by wonderful hosts. Very welcoming, helpful & genuinely friendly. We stayed in the King Suite, which was very comfortable with a lounge area equipped with a large flatscreen tv, refrigerator plus tea & coffee making facilities, a very nice bathroom & very large bedroom with king bed & also equipped with wardrobes & large flatscreen tv. Downstairs is the breakfast area, guest lounge & outdoor area for relaxing in. Check in is any time after 11am & check out by 11am. They’re happy to store luggage & invite you to use the lounge after check out while waiting for pick up. This was a memorable stay & we hope to return.

Very welcoming boutique accommodations, situated conveniently to bars, restaurants, shopping and attractions. Steve and Jackie could not have been more gracious hosts - always checking in with any requests and ready with lots of local suggestions of things to do, where to eat etc. Breakfast was toast, fruit, yogurt. Only suggestion - more protein at breakfast like hard boiled eggs or something hot like oatmeal. Would definitely stay here again.
