Clean and same picture with actual. Recommend for those who stay overnight. And convenient to walk to Christchurch airport. Also there are some restaurantz like Subway, KFC, MCD etc and supermarket are nearby JUCY

Excellent location to explore Christchurch attractions. Very clean and well appointed room for an excellent price (I was wondering what It may be getting into). The room quality was a 3+ star for US standards. The only negative is the lack of parking (only offstreet parking or may have to drive a block away for parking). The clean room, friendly staff and excellent location and the overall niceness of Christchurch and it's people in general made us quickly get over the initial stress of trying to find a place to park. Great location that's only a 10 minute walk away from the city centre. Easy accessibility to eateries and groceries. It happened that the ceiling started leaking water on the 2nd day of my stay. The staff acted quickly to switch me to another room and I am pleased with their quick reaction. The room was cosy and spacious. I would stay here again.

Best park we have stayed in across NZ. The experience was seamless and professional from the moment we arrived to the moment we left 4 days later. Our flight arrived earlier from Australia and travelling with two young tired toddlers the staff were extremely accommodating in letting us check in earlier. We booked the three bedroom cabin and loved that it had been newly renovated from the kitchen to the bathroom to the bedrooms. I loved the themed NZ images they had around the cabin and it was spacious and very clean. A big highlight was the free amenities that this park offered. It has a new jumping pillow, playground and heated pool, which allowed our kids freedom to play and meet the other children travelling and staying in the park. They also that these really cool pedal bikes that we used (free) to cycle around the park. We were grateful that there was a petrol station and Burger king right out front which allowed us to get what we needed without driving into town after a long journey. The proximity to the airport was great, taking the pressure off us in regards to additional travel time. Would highly recommend and we look forward to returning.

The layout with sliding glass doors enabled me to work whilst my daughter was not disturbed, sleeping. The facilities were good and the shower was accessible of anyone with mobility issues. It is also close to pack and save -NZ largest supermarket, so self catering is very easy. We also travelled around using public transport, and the connections were only a couple of flat blocks away making it ideal of those of us who didn't have a car.

Stayed at Fino in a 2 bedroom corporate apartment with a colleague for three nights to attend a conference. I will start by saying the location was excellent as our conference was across the road. PROS: The reception staff were outstanding and extremely polite. The apartment was a good size and worked well having two bathrooms. The kitchen had everything you needed for a short stay. CONS: Bathrooms - grouting between the tiles was filthy, no where to hang your towel except over the toilet - yuk, the toiletries on the web page were not what you got - cheap dispensers on the wall of the bathroom that were empty so no way to wash ourselves on the first morning as there was no body wash nor soap. Had to ask twice and chase the cleaners to get them filled with poor quality product. No where to put your toothbrush or toiletries except to close the toilet seat and use that - yuk. The shower in the ensuite was in a very high sided bath and the shower head was so low that I had to get on my knees to wash my hair (I am only 5 foot 4). The main bathroom shower over the bath was broken and while my colleague was trying to shower very hot water was coming out the bath tap burning her feet - we brought this to the attention of the reception staff who said it would be fixed while we were out - but it wasn't. Bedrooms: no power points (in the entire apartment) that are close to a mirror to use hair dryer. Bedding was clean. General: apartment very sad and needs a good revamp. Lots of marks on the walls, missing paint, worn carpet, uncomfortable couch, damaged benchtop in the kitchen, very few coffee sachets left (enough for one weak coffee each). Had to ask to get more. We paid over $300 a night for this run down apartment with few amenities. Apart from the nice reception staff and the location I could not recommend. The pictures on the website do not represent what you are getting.

Il proprietario era molto amichevole. La stanza, mentre un po' date, era grande per il prezzo - soprattutto con il bagno bagnato incluso. La stanza era anche senza spot. La città è un po' di distanza da passeggiata, ma il bagno lo rendeva tutto utile. Usa il telefono per il villaggio di Edgeware se dovete fare qualsiasi acquisto di prodotti alimentari.

The motel is in walking distance to the city but far enough away to not be right in the hub. Our room was quietly tucked into the back corner so we slept very well. We asked for more milk for our 3rd day which didn’t arrive but it was a minor slip up. The linen and room was clean and bed comfortable.

This is one of the loveliest places I have ever stayed - it represents everything about the legendary New Zealand Hospitality that you have ever imagined. Run by the owner, Chet, who delivers a truly personal and welcoming experience for every guest. I stayed for four nights and every morning there was a breakfast banquet of fresh fruits, cereals, milks for everyone ( soy, oat , dairy) , freshly squeezed orange juice, freshly made coffee, hot toast and so many condiments to chose from . You sit round a large table which is social and interesting to find out what others are planning. On the one morning when I had a very early start, a breakfast was placed carefully outside my room for me to enjoy before setting off at 5.30am - such thoughtful service. My room was the little ‘sleep out’ which is a super cosy ensuite room with a lovely bed and excellent shower as well - set in the carefully designed courtyard, which has a lovely small pond and flowers and plants that clearly the local birds and bees really enjoy too. A very relaxing place to sit and unwind in after a busy day . In terms of location, when you arrive Chet takes you through a carefully, prepared map and gives you a link to a web page he has created full of useful tips and hints . The public bus system in Christchurch makes it very easy and cheap to get all over the place . Chet also offers a laundry service, but please remember this is not a laundromat, so you if you need something urgently then look for that, but if you have a day or two then your laundry is done and returned all very efficiently. So in summary, if you want to experience real New Zealand hospitality, look no further than Designer Cottage !
