Skandalis Apartments

Wonderful, fully equipped and very clean apar**ents, ideal for family vacations any time of the year! My suggestion is that July is the best period to go at Chania, through the less people at Chania.

I dont think you will find better stay than Skandalis suites, its located in the best Chania area, 15 mins from the center of Chania with car, 2 minutes from the best beach in this area, Stavros beach. Apart from the location, which is a small but modern town with lots of markets, restaurants, cafe's, Shell gas station, the family of Popi and Yorgos are the loveliest people you will ever meet. They take care of you as family, they keep the whole area pristine clean, the apar**ents are spacious, modern, with all you need, tv, ac, kitchen fully equipped, great strong internet 24hrs, hot water in the bathroom 24hrs, private parking space... We stayed for almost 2 weeks and we are def coming back next year, and not only for the greatness of Crete, but for this family also, Popi and Yorgos, thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Maja and Bojan

The apar**ent had everything I needed for my stay. The rooms were very clean and the owners were outstanding hosts. They went the extra mile to ensure I was comfortable and I understood the amenities on the property as well as in the surrounding area. I travel to the area annually and will certainly be back at this location!

We spent 2 weeks in Chorafakia and it was superb! We were primarily looking for a quiet, relaxing place, little further from the beach and crowded places. As I was also working remotely the first week, it was important for me to have a good Internet connection and the Internet worked very well. Even there were other guests in the place, it was really quiet. The room was clean and comfy. Popi is the most amazing host I have ever met and we can't wait to see her again!

Very attractive courtyard. Pool small, garden area would be very crowded if all apts occupied. Only 4 buses a day, last one left Hania at 6pm, car essencial, nowhere nice to walk. No toiletries. Communication with proprietor hard for non Greek speakers. Some apts more comfortable than others. Base units in one apt smelt of damp & bed was uncomfortable, cobwebs, floor not clean Check out 10am not 11am as advertised.

We stayed at Skandalis Traditional Suites in Chorafakia for 1 week in August. The apar**ents are as described, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was okay. The journey was super problem-free. The pool was fantastic and so well-kept, you could also use it in the evening / at night, the entire area was very well-kept, the house was super great, and the greenest lawn in the area! We felt comfortable and always safe there. The landlords live directly across the street from a really nice family who can be contacted for any questions, the sons are really great too, the boss gave us some groceries (eggs, melon, figs and homemade hot cakes), and we even went to a family barbecue invited, this family is so super nice, fantastic! Thanks again. The apar**ent was also cleaned, beds made and even the washing up was done, actually not common in holiday apar**ents, it was done there anyway, and fresh towels were also provided. We have never seen such nice, warm landlords like this family there, The house is in a great location. Opposite is a great tavern with great cheap food (6.50 € -10 €) the tavern is extremely well attended throughout the day. To the beach you go about 10 minutes, this is really beautiful. There are many small great beaches nearby. However, we recommend a rental car, with this one is also quickly in Chania, the port city, about 15 minutes away. It will be difficult without a rental car. We would book this accommodation again and again. 5 out of 5 stars! Super εξυπηρέτηση καθαρά δωμάτια με πισίνα πεντακάθαρη και ζεστή, η κυρία Πόπη πάντα εξυπηρετική με τη γνωστή κρητική φιλοξενία. Ελπίζω να με αξιωσει ο Θεός να επισκεφθώ πάλι την ΚΚρήτη.Until next time have a godd holiday.

Υπέροχη φιλοξενία και υπέροχο μέρος! Σε καλωσορίζει η Κα Ποπη από την πρώτη στιγμή με το ευχάριστο χαμόγελο και τα παραδοσιακά εδέσματα! Ηλιόλουστο μέρος με θέα το ηλιοβασίλεμα! Πισίνα για χαλαρωτικές στιγμές... Τα δωμάτια πεντακάθαρα επιπλωμενα με καινούριες συσκευές και στρώματα cocomat Το συστήνω ανεπιφύλαχτα !!!

Elegimos al azar los apartamentos Skandalis en Chorafakia buscando tranquilidad y escapando del bullicio. Nos encontramos con eso y mucho más. Un sitio muy agradable que te ofrece todo lo que necesitas para unas vacaciones. Apartamentos limpios, intimidad, un buen restaurante a apenas 20 m., farmacia, supermercado, cajero. La persona que regenta los apartamentos nos recibió con mucho cariño ofreciéndonos un delicioso plato típico de Creta, cosa que repitió más veces durante nuestra estancia, una persona muy amable y cercana que te hace sentir más a gusto si cabe. Recomendaré siempre este lugar. Una elección perfecta.
