Non abbiamo parole per questo hotel. La signora Katerina ci ha accolto al porto con un sorriso meraviglioso. Appena arrivati in hotel Artemis ci ha fornito tutte le informazioni sull'isola e ci ha aiutato con il noleggio dell'auto. Tutto il personale è meraviglioso. I cocktail del bar sono tutti perfetti e la colazione è molto varia e in grandi quantità. La piscina è sulla scogliera e si vede il blu infinito. Avaton è immerso nella natura e uno splendido sentiero conduce al centro in meno di 10 minuti. Con il comportamento di queste persone ci siamo sentiti come se fossimo a casa. Torneremo anche la prossima estate

This was our 2nd visit to beautiful Folegandros and we hope to return a 3rd time and stay at this hotel. Sadly our 1st visit, we did not stay at this hotel, we stayed at another one and that place was terrible. You can read my review. I will not post the name of the first place on here for risk of slander. The staff at the first hotel were so bad we left thinking maybe it was the islands attitude towards tourists. My husband and I enjoyed the island so much and were apprehensive to stay here again. Well, we were glad we took the risk! This hotel is magnificent AND the staff are so warm, helpful, and kind. This location is wonderful, easy to walk into Chora and has a breathtaking view of the Aegean. The staff are helpful with anything you need to picked up/dropped off for ferry, made calls on our behalf for ATV’s, and provided a tranquil stay. This was our 7th trip to Greece, 2nd time to Folegandros. We hope to make an 8th trip and 3rd to Folegandros and hope to stay at this beautiful and peaceful hotel!

We have just stayed three nights at AVATON : It was an absolute delight to stay in the hotel in the best location of the island, Katerina and Artemis were so welcoming, helpful and looking for every details. The room is big simple and has everything you need. It is very clean ; the bath and bed linen are soft and of excellent quality. Breakfast in front of the pool and the breathtaking landscape is just a pure moment of happiness ! To go to the village of Chora, there is a little path and it only takes 10 minutes to walk around and have a nice dinner in the village. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay in the best location in the island just go to Avaton, and Katerina and Artemis will make your vacation incredible !

I booked this hotel with high expectations based on the website information . Unfortunately it does not make it clear that half of the hotel is a building site. I had the end room next to the eyesore that was a partly built massive eyesore . It is the only thing I could see when I sat on my balcony. If this hotel was not so expensive I would not have minded so much , even if it had been made clear there was still building being done but nowhere is it mentioned . The room was really nice , all new but needs some soft lighting as only bright overhead lighting was not relaxing . The breakfasts were average and it was the same items every single day . Again not what I expected from a 5 star hotel . The WIFI was poor and didn’t work for long periods . So overall a very disappointing experience and definitely not worth the nightly rate I paid . Once the rest is finished and if the breakfasts are improved with much more variety and the rooms are made more comfortable and WIFI improved and management are visible instead of just 2 people running everything it would be worth the rates

An absolutely wonderful gem nestled into the hills just a short scenic walk from beautiful Chora. Only 9 rooms, so they maintain a sense of peaceful calm at all times. Impeccably designed rooms and a gorgeous infinity pool overlooking the Aegean Sea made this a place we were happy to spend quality time at in the middle of our Greece vacation. Breakfast on the pool terrace was wonderful, and the service by their small but friendly and attentive staff was perfect. Absolutely recommend!

We spent one week at the hotel Avaton. All has been perfect. The room was elegant and clean. Breakfast was excellent and all services were great. A special thank to Caterina and her doughter, marvellaus owners! Whish to come back ASAP. Alessandro and Rosa

The hotel is in incredible location! The View and the landscape is beautiful! The level of everything is on top! Breakfast was precisely, eating in front of the infinity pool and looking up to amazing view of the bay. The maintenance and cleanliness were perfect! The rooms were excellent! And most important of all Katrina and Artimis they gave us everything we asked for… and made our vacation INCREDIBLE. We want to thank you again so much! An incredible hotel located a short walk from Chora. Lovely staff, a delicious fresh daily breakfast and incredible views. The rooms were modern, spacious and very comfortable. Highly recommend the hotel and staff. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This is a fantastic resort, exactly like the pictures. The rooms Are spacious and well equipped, even a computer is available. Everything is so clean and inviting, both in the room and in The pool-area. Lots of options for sunbeds and shade, as you prefer. A short, charming walk into Chora town for restaurants and shots. The Hotel owners and staff go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant stay. Highly recommended!
