The hotel is surrounded by nature and everything is very serene. The rooms were immaculately clean with a beautiful balcony. All the staff were so amazing and super friendly and the food served at the restaurant was delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, albeit a short one, and hope to back for an extended holiday sometime in the future! :)

Most generous hospitality and comforting stay. Food can be improved a bit though as it is mostly focussed on foreigners I suppose.i would recommend this place for all sort of groups and families and couples. Jacuzzi was also a great addition to their service.

One of the best place I have been to.It was outstanding and the hospitality was really good.Special thanks to Thomas who helped us in all ways.We would definitely return back and would recommend to all my friends.Food was also good especially the spice tree fried chicken.Once again thank you so much for the memorable time.

Beyond words. The resort is so calm & relaxing surrounded by Nature. Cardamom & Pepper plantation. We felt so relax & it was exactly what we were looking forward to on this trip. The staff are just so warm & friendly always smiling & at your service. The chef comes to your table to check if all is good That is so sweet. Food was so flavorful. The chef was kind enough to prepare our favourite Fried Rice the way we actually wanted it Cheers Guys !!!! Would love to visit Spice Tree Again. Thank you & all the best

Our stay at the Spice Tree was the highlight of our trip to Kerala: a total oasis of calm and relaxation in a beautiful hillside setting. The rooms were large and spotlessly clean, the staff were truly professional, the food was excellent and the activities on offer were interesting and varied to suit every taste. I can't recommend this hotel enough!

A magical place perched on the hillside. Service, facilities and food all amazing. Particularly enjoyed the included extras such as tea tasting and guided walks. I really can’t recommend this place highly enough and we really hope to return one day.

What a lovely place, just a small number of rooms and incredible attention to detail - in the restaurant a selection of candles make the restaurant room very cosy. Ordering food an hour before dinner means it is freshly cooked and tasty. Terrific views and real quiet. There are several activities, both free and paid for - tea tasting is fun and there are various guided walks. It is in the middle of nowhere - that is how it feels - and there is a steep climb down to, say, the library, for anyone who has mobility issues. We were in 102 and internet could be a little dodgy at times; and I would have loved to have stronger lighting to be able to read in bed. Lovely stay and we would love to return one day.

The hotel has a beautiful setting in the mountains and offers lots of great complimentary activities. The staff are fantastic and provided exceptional levels of customer service. The hotel had an excellent chef and the food was amazing. The spa staff and treatments were wonderful.

Wonderful hotel, beautiful location overlooking the valley. Lovely staff and great food. Terraced paths take you down to the coffee/ tea room where you can enjoy the home made chocolate and cakes. Chef Pandiyan treated us to his excellent cooking demonstration after which we enjoyed what was cooked! The tea plantations and Munnar are nearby and the hotel provides a range of easy activities too.
