Most generous hospitality and comforting stay. Food can be improved a bit though as it is mostly focussed on foreigners I suppose.i would recommend this place for all sort of groups and families and couples. Jacuzzi was also a great addition to their service.

One of the best place I have been to.It was outstanding and the hospitality was really good.Special thanks to Thomas who helped us in all ways.We would definitely return back and would recommend to all my friends.Food was also good especially the spice tree fried chicken.Once again thank you so much for the memorable time.

Beyond words. The resort is so calm & relaxing surrounded by Nature. Cardamom & Pepper plantation. We felt so relax & it was exactly what we were looking forward to on this trip. The staff are just so warm & friendly always smiling & at your service. The chef comes to your table to check if all is good That is so sweet. Food was so flavorful. The chef was kind enough to prepare our favourite Fried Rice the way we actually wanted it Cheers Guys !!!! Would love to visit Spice Tree Again. Thank you & all the best

"Spice Tree" is hidden among cardamom plantations and forest about 15 km away from Munnar. It is perfectly located a few kms off the main road. The property is on a slope with rooms at different levels which adds to the allure. The valley facing cottage we stayed in was well appointed, had excellent views and even had a Jacuzzi in the huge bathroom! There are quite a few activities for the guests; we went for a light evening walk which was invigorating as well as a tea tasting session. The restaurant serves decent breakfast and has a balanced a la carte menu; the prices are on the higher side but the dishes we had were delicious. The staff were very polite and helpful; special mention to Mr. Ratheelesh who was there always to make our stay comfortable. It is a perfect place to relax, unwind and rejuvenate.

The resort is exceptionally beautiful. Don’t even get me started on their incredible pool villa! Has to be one of the best pool villas in India, if not in the world! The activities are extremely enjoyable; we embarked on a scenic hike and participated in a cooking class led by Chef Amal (where we savored the freshly prepared food!). The staff is outstandingly helpful, particularly the manager :) I wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone. It's a spot where memories are made, and even as I leave, I'm taking a piece of it with me—along with their delightful cookies!♥️

This resort was one of our favourites during a wonderful 6 week trip through Southern India. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which had uninterrupted views across the valley to the mountains of the Western Ghat from the room and the plunge pool on the patio. The large copper bath was favourite and the treats left for us in the room were delicious. Food in the restaurant was excellent as was the service received throughout our stay. The property to many facilities to mention but the reading room and tea ceremony were particular. I would love to visit here again and have no hesitation recommending it to anyone else.

The hotel is surrounded by nature and everything is very serene. The rooms were immaculately clean with a beautiful balcony. All the staff were so amazing and super friendly and the food served at the restaurant was delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, albeit a short one, and hope to back for an extended holiday sometime in the future! :)

From the minute our party arrived we were made so welcome. This is such a comfortable and beautiful hotel. We stayed for 2 nights and dinner each night was delicious. Breakfast was really tasty too with lots of choice including fresh eggs/omelette’s etc cooked fresh. We didn’t get a chance to swim in the pool because we were out all day touring but it’s very pretty.

We spent two nights here in a classic room with jacuzzi that looked down into the hillside and valley. The room was quite spacious and quiet with a decent sized balcony. We attended the 4pm tea tasting with the manager Rateesh and that was very informative. The second day we did the morning walk down the hill through the Cardamon fields to the Jacobite church. Our guide Abil was very good at pointing out the various plants and helping down the steep slope. The restaurant served lovely meals. They request that you preorder your meals so they are ready when you arrive, this works well. Surag, Nibeesh and Alex were very attentive and made good suggestions. We found all staff very helpful and polite. They also booked a car for our onward journey. Some of the buildings and grounds could use some updating but overall we were very pleased.
