Don’t forget to bring your bicycles and enjoy a safe ride through the Chickamauga Battlefield, the oldest and largest National Military Park in the U.S. The children will enjoy the Holland Watson Veterans Park, located in town on the corner of Crittenden Avenue and W 8th Street. The original 1890’s beehive coke ovens and train cars were reclaimed and restored in the 1990’s and the park has since been maintained and preserved by the City of Chickamauga.
