From the moment I arrived the reception was unfriendly and unwelcoming. 1 when I reserved on booking I’m pretty sure the price was £33 (1200 baht), but on arrival I was told it was 1800 baht. Sadly I hadn’t taken a screen shot, but it was an inauspicious start 2 there was a fancy coffee machine, but I was told it didn’t operate after 10am. I offered to pay for a cappuccino but this was refused. I was told I could use an insta Nescafé packet. 3 I have concerns ref security. The front door is left ajar at night, but there is no night watchman or staff member present. 4 when I asked whether there was a room available for the following night (simply because I couldn’t be bothered to move) I was told there wasn’t - but booking was again showing availability… But above all - smile, and try to use fair currency conversions !
