Hotel a 4 stelle popolari a Chesterfield

The hotel is outdated and in dire need of a refurb. The rooms are dark and what hotel doesn’t have standard USB’s ? We are Hilton diamond members so breakfast was included. It’s served buffet style and I do have to say the bacon and fried potatoes were quite tasty. Just a warning they share the facility with an indoor atheistic club and they are not nice to hotel guests. We went to take our grand daughter who is 4 to the pool Saturday morning and and 5 ladies were in the shallow end and doing some aquatic class and the instructor ( I assume ) told us we had to either one stay out of the pool causing her to cry or 2 stay in the deep end where even as an adult was difficult to touch. Luckily she can swim so we stayed out of the old bitties way. I think the hotel needs to tell its guest this information to avoid let down by children. We went back again that night and it was regular hotel guests having fun. Also the men playing basketball were also fairly rude and acted like we were a bother just walking thru to get back to the hotel area. It’s an odd set up. Just want others to be aware.

I chose this hotel based on the location and great reviews. However, the rooms are humid, musty and moldy. The first room had mold on the ceiling and the musty smell was so strong that we asked for a different room. The next room seemed better, but still smelled musty. The carpet felt sticky and damp and the next day we noticed there was mold in the pictures on the walls. We were on the first floor, I’m not sure how other floors compare. During our stay I received a text message from the hotel asking how my stay was going, when I responded negatively and explained why, I didn’t get a response back. Now I’ve looked closer at other reviews and found that this has been an issue at this hotel for years. They are clearly aware of it but haven’t come up with a way to fix it. Everything else about the hotel was great. Acceptably clean, nice pool, decent breakfast, free cookies and water bottles, very friendly and helpful staff. I feel bad to leave a negative review because everything else was great, but the musty smell in the room was so bad I couldn’t wait to check out.

La nostra camera era molto ordinata. Non ho particolarmente apprezzato il ”bar”. Abbiamo chiesto informazioni su un menu di cocktail e ci è stato detto: ”possiamo fare qualsiasi cosa con quello che vedi qui”. Quello che c'era erano circa 6-8 bottiglie di liquore e non c'era molto da fare con nessuno di loro. Il personale è comunque molto cordiale. Probabilmente prenoteremmo di nuovo.

While this hotel has a great location once the 4am traffic starts you'll hear it depending on your room location. This hotel is right on 64, we were in room 326 & traffic was our alarm clock. I would certainly stay here again opting for a room as far away from 64 as possible! Breakfast isn't included ~ they do have a hot & cold buffet you can pay for ~ save your money & head to The Original Pancake House instead! I used Priceline to book our stay. The rate, including tax & fees was still cheaper than the hotels website even w/my Hilton rewards :( Marleena checked me in and was fantastic!

La posizione dell'hotel è un po'difficile, non è molto conveniente mangiare.Ma c'è un'Otles a 200 metri da qui, e il negozio è conveniente. Le parole delle strutture sono complete e nuove. Il servizio della reception è ancora buono, Mariott non è deluso in questo senso.
