More of a restaurant (Michelin 1*) than a hotel. The restaurant is expensive, always fully booked and never available to hotel guests. I stayed there 3 nights but since I had no evening meals there I cannot comment on how good the restaurant is. There is a nearby town with useable restaurants but it is a car drive away. There is no actual bar in the hotel - they will sell you bottles of beers but they do not sell draft beer. There is no air conditioning in the rooms and no door to the en suite toilet/shower, only a curtain. The WC is also awkwardly placed facing a wall a few feet way and my shower basin didn't drain properly. The hotel is also close to the railway line so it's great for train spotters but not if you want a quiet night's sleep! I would not stay there again.

Very charming and friendly staff.
Breakfast a little sp**** and no air conditioning for Americans 😂. Ate breakfast watching a family of swans on the river. Very quaint

On vous vend du rêve…un hôtel pas en phase avec le restaurant. Pour les professionnels qui souhaitent séjourner à l’hôtel. Attention! Lundi et mardi le restaurant est fermé, on vous propose de la bistronomie haut de gamme. Le 09/10/23 le menu du soir( pas de carte) entrée œuf mimosa ( pas frais) un œuf coupé en 2 sur un lit de gelée, présenté dans une grande assiette creuse. Plat suprême de volaille dans son jus avec ses pomme de terre. C’était une demi escalope de poulet de même pas 200gr avec 5 demie pomme de terre. Dessert j’en parle pas tellement c’était nul. 40€. Verre de vin 12€, apérol 16€, bière 6€, kir 8€ Petit déjeuner facturé a 17€ , c’est tout simplement du vol pour ce qui est proposé. En résumé : l’hôtel est vieillot et devrait être rafraîchi. Le restaurant « étoilé « j’ai pas pu le testé car fermé lundi et mardi. La soit disante bistronomie haut de gamme, n’est pas à la hauteur. Trop cher tout simplement.

Agréable déjeuner dans ce restaurant qui mérite son étoile Michelin ! Le cadre est simple. Ce qui marque, c'est la qualités des mets (nous avion pris le menu épicure) : des saveurs et produits (pour la plupart venant de la région) qui se marrient à merveille. Le luxe étant de me faire aimer le tartare de bœuf, le céleri et le gingembre... Alors que d'habitude, j'ai horreur de ça... Le salut du chef à la fin du repas. Puis une balade à pied digestive sur les bords de Marne pour clore ce bel après-midi. Un conseil : allez-y ! :)
