Hotel in zona Argos Banbury in Sainsbury's, Cherwell

We stayed with friends for two nights. We ate dinner at The Hotel the first night. This review has to take into account how good the price was that we paid. The room was old like, the core building, but it was not noisy as some have written. The loo shuddered as it refilled. But the bed was comfortable and it was warm. There are lots of positives to balance the old room. Breakfast was very good in terms of choices and very good value. The parking is plentiful and secure. The staff were hardworking and helpful. Deddington is itself nice and it’s a good place to explore from. Overall a 4* very good score because it was half the price of the last hotel we used in remote West Wales to meet with the same friends. I do not know what those scoring it lower paid but the price we paid was very competitive for what we received.

Il personale dell'hotel era fantastico. Erano amichevoli, anche quando abbiamo sollevato molteplici questioni con le nostre camere. E' per loro che stiamo dando due su cinque. Per l'hotel, lo faremo uno su cinque. Era impermeabile e aveva un letto decente, anche se non tutte le mutandine erano di buona qualità; nella nostra prima stanza, la doccia si sprayò sul tetto, come noi entravamo nel bagno, e il fan dell’estrattori nel bagno non funzionava. Quando questo ci lasciava con una stanza permanentemente a vapore, il personale ci fornì un'altra stanza, quella con un ventilatore di estrazione e una doccia. Purtroppo, alcuni dei cuscini erano vecchi, sottili e lumposi. A volte non c'era acqua calda. Ancora una volta, il personale ha fatto il possibile. Poiché il primo piano è il pianoforte, piuttosto che il cemento, potevamo sentire ogni passo dall’ospite nella stanza sopra la nostra. Le finestre bloccavano il rumore dall’esterno, purché fossero chiuse. Ci era un sacco di parcheggio. In breve, l'hotel è mal progettato e richiede un sacco di manutenzione.Era abbastanza pulito, ma polvere nei luoghi (non si è mai assicurato se il personale di pulizia ha tempo sufficiente per mantenere il posto senza sporco). Il personale era molto lieto di fornire ciò che avevamo bisogno e di avere un amichevole chat.

Un gemello di un hotel. Ho trovato questo hotel accidentalmente su una ricerca di google. Il sito è facile da usare e bonus è animale domestico amichevole! Il benvenuto è stato molto buono e la camera è stata spaziosa e immacolatamente pulita. Il tè/caffè nella stanza e una bottiglia d'acqua. La TV è posizionata in modo da poterla guardare confortevolmente nel letto senza stringere il collo. Anche la stanza ha un tavolo e un tavolo, un grande bicchiere di vino rosa è stato solo £7.00. Il migliore di tutti ... Il cibo indiano era eccellente, come il servizio di tutto il personale. In qualità di allenatore di servizio clienti per molti anni non posso raccomandare questo inno abbastanza. Io sarò indietro!

We stayed here the night before the weekend over the Friday bank holiday for two nights. It was perfect and so remote. Idyllic ally it is a beautiful place and we had amazing weather. The room was deluxe and services throughout the hotel was exceptional. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times, and we were demanding. This hotel would be a perfect place to get away too and close to Bicester Village.

Wonderful hotel just 3 min drive from Bicester village . Breakfast is poor for Muslim Family but still included in the price. We were lucky to be here with some 65 pounds for 3 people but 25£ for a dog charge. Clean , nice staff, good amenities.

We loved our visit here. The room was fantastic, really clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious as was the afternoon tea, we had on arrival, as it came in with the booking offer, with really friendly service from all staff. The positioning of the hotel is superb. Walking distance of lots of pubs for dinner, as well as Blenheim Palace. A lovely walk in the sunshine for a visit. A bus stop outside, for a bus into Oxford, so you don’t have to pay crazy parking charges in the city centre. I would really recommend staying here regardless of the type of trip. You will love it!!!

We stayed for two evenings in May to visit Blenheim palace. We had two rooms, both superior, one on the first floor of the pub and one leading out to the front. Both rooms were beautiful; the one outside had very low ceilings and beams (ok for us as we’re not tall), with a big clawfoot bath and a walk in wardrobe. It also had the most stunning fireplace that backs on to the one in the pub. The other room had a huge 6ft bed and a very big walk in shower. Both were incredibly comfortable and we slept well both nights. We ate at the pub both evenings; the first night a young chap was managing the restaurant, he and the team did a phenomenal job. The service and the food was superb. He second evening we shared the steak (we had two between the four of us) and it was amazing. Again the food and service was fabulous. On the Saturday we were the only ones eating breakfast, the service was prompt and the food delicious. However the breakfast on the Sunday was an absolute disaster; the chap who seated us (I didn’t catch his name but he had an overseas accent) took our order and then we waited…. We waited and waited as he seated others, took their orders and their breakfasts came while we waited. The room wasn’t full, there were about 5 other tables seated (and he walked past us several times and looked at the table). When we asked him, he blamed the kitchen then went to find out what had happened. He came back and apologised and said it would be with us shortly (to be clear, two of us were only having toast!) only for us to have to chase again. An hour had gone by and we still had no breakfast (every other table had come and gone by then. After chasing a second time, he brought out one cooked breakfast (with the wrong eggs) and an omelette (the other order was for poached eggs on toast), oh and then the toast! We explained this was wrong so he blamed the kitchen again and then said he’d get them to make poached eggs but we said we’d rather not have rushed poached eggs (and to be honest it had been over an hour, we had to get off). There was an almighty row going on between him and the kitchen (I imagine the order simply hadn’t made it and then he’d guessed). We were gutted, it had been such a lovely stay with two fabulous meals and great service and it ended like that. We were told that a guest had a flat battery and they were trying to help out with that, but to me there’s no excitement for that level of service in a breakfast room where only 5 tables have taken breakfast. When I checked out he apologised it did not make eye contact. I really wanted to be writing a positive review and like I said the majority of the stay was super, to the point we’d discussed returning g. However that wouldn’t happen now, which is a shame.

Ho avuto una grande esperienza all'Holiday Inn Pear Tree Oxford, il personale era molto amichevole, utile e aperto a chat, in particolare il manager che ha dato al signor alcune buone raccomandazioni sui pub per mangiare a Oxford, La signora che mi ha controllato e un gentiluomo che lavorava per controllare con chi ho avuto una bella conversazione e conosce la città da dove vengo. Le strutture sono eccellenti e di lusso, con bar, zona da pranzo e lobby molto pulito e rilassante. La mia camera era molto elegante, pulita con TV a schermo grande, aria condizionata e caldaia privata con sacchetti di tè e caffè, la camera da bagno era anche molto pulita. Raccomando vivamente a chiunque di rimanere qui se nella zona di Oxford e voglio un soggiorno tranquillo e rilassante con un ottimo servizio clienti.

Short walk from the bus station. Nice hotel by a river. Clean. Front desk staffs friendly and helpful. Reasonable price for hotel in Oxford area. Buffet breakfast is acceptable but not much choices.
