Inutile, terribile, ero in mezza pensione ma per cena c'era un manu pazzesco e alla fine ho preso il riso e il curry senza buffet ma anche il riso non era ben cotto. era davvero l'inizio delle 8.30. Ancora una volta anche la colazione è la stessa ... Finalmente un servizio molto inutile tutti loro 🤢

Was returning from a well awaited family outing from Batticaloa when Upul Kumara (Group Sustainable Mgr) and Rashed (GM) invited us to drop by and take a look around the hotel. We were mesmerized to see such an awesome hotel at the shores of Pasikudah. What makes Sun Siyam standout from the other Beach Hotels is the fact that it brings the calm and tranquility of nature to the door step of the sea. The carefully planned tree cover with the hotel attracts many birds giving it such a beautiful atmosphere. The food is excellent and everyone enjoyed the buffet. The feel that you get from the lava tiled swimming pool floor is amazing and it was difficult to get the kids out. The boat ride to the nearby coral reef was so entertaining as the kids got to see the vivid fish and experience the sealife. The night walk and the experience at the floating deck at the seafront was out of this world. We are so grateful and thankful for the amazing hospitality extended by the staff during our stay. We can't wait to head back to this amazing hotel.

We had a great stay at Sun Siyam. With just 34 rooms it really is a lovely boutique hotel which never looked busy or over crowded despite high occupancy at the time of our stay. The room we had was spacious and well appointed, and the bed was very comfortable too. The outside bathroom was just as big and included both a shower and bath tub. The hotel is very well managed by Arshad, who works closely with his entire team to deliver great service to all of their guests. Arshad and his team do everything they can to ensure you enjoy your stay. The pool is huge and surrounded by a number of comfortable sun loungers all of which have a beach towel carefully rolled up on them for your use. The beach is just a few footsteps away from the pool and the water is calm enough to paddle in. We had all of our meals at the hotel and the food never disappointed. It was varied and included both Sri Lankan and western food options. I would definitely come again to this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants is looking for a 5* hotel with great service.

The most beautiful resort in Sri Lanka. Everything was perfect: the rooms, the beach and the service. A special thanks to the general manager and his team who took very good care of us. We were a big group but the hotel was well equipped to host us all.

This is the season to visit the East Coast of Sri Lanka. The ocean opposite the hotel was completely calm so I was able to enjoy a few glasses of chilled white wine while lounging in the water until evening. Then fell fast asleep on the comfiest pillows. The best service we have had. The staff were always close at hand to attend to anything you need. There is a separate baby pool with a small enclosed play area right next to it. The karaoke lounge had a great selection of music, including my favourite band 'Oasis'.

We stayed 16 to 19 August 6 adults and 2 kids. This resort is a hidden gem in a secret beach paradise called Pasikudah! The General Manager, Arshad runs this resort at very high standards. The exceptional service we received is so unique and rare. Even before we arrived to the resort, we were contacted to check our requirements. From the front office, housekeeping, F&B, we experienced a warm, professional and caring service. The rooms can be described as suites with very comfortable king size beds and a separate seating area and a large bathroom with an open air area with a jacuzzi too! All of a five star hotel room facilities were there. Breakfast and dinner was buffet service and lunch was ala carte style. There was a large variety of food selections for buffet with a hot service station at breakfast and dinner. Some of the hot food was: sautéed prawns, batter fried calamari, which we enjoyed alot. The soups at lunch were really delicious. They have a karaoke lounge which was a unique entertainment for us as a family. There is also a spa, gym, pool table to name a few. The pool has a kids section as well, which was useful for our kids. The beach was very private and wide and clean and the lsea was calm like a pool, so it was ideal for privacy for the adults and security for the kids. There is an outdoor beach bar serving drinks and snacks. The hotel provides special coral shoes if guests needed. Arshad runs a well oiled machine of a stunning resort. Our simple wishes and requests were quickly done by the staff. This was the first time we visited Sun Siyam Pasikudah, and based on our experience this time we decided to make this a regular annual trip for the entire family every year when we come to Lanka. We don’t wish to stay anywhere else for our family get together. The Sun Siyam Pasikudah has fulfilled and gone over and beyond our expectations. Beautiful, magical, peaceful, luxurious - all in one place.

Lovely hotel-the hard product is decent quality but the critical element they get right is the service. Led by Arshed, they are all sincere and incredibly hard working, from the gardeners to housekeeping to front of house. The beach front villas with private pool were great family spaces and the beach idyllic. Arshed has been creative in the renovation, with pool and karaoke to give guests a level of entertainment and oil torches on the beach to chill out in the evenings by the sea. We really enjoyed our 5 night stay as part of our Sri Lanka tour. The only reason the review is not 5* is that you can’t swim in the sea in front of the hotel outside high tide (dead coral). Arshed has a plan for that - we hope your hand built guest boat is successful!

My stay at Sun Siyam Pasikudah was nothing short of extraordinary. Our room was spacious and elegantly furnished, with all the modern amenities one could need. The dining options were fantastic, with a great mix of local Sri Lankan dishes and international cuisine. The seafood was particularly fresh and delicious. The staff were incredibly attentive and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Their warmth and professionalism truly enhanced our stay. Siyam Pasikudah is a perfect blend of luxury and tranquility. It’s an ideal spot for anyone looking to relax in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended!
