Non essere troppo comodo per andare al Mountain Resort. Arriverai alle quattro del pomeriggio e farai una passeggiata di 10 minuti fuori dall'hotel fino alla villa, dove potrai giocare liberamente fino alla chiusura notturna. Il Resort è molto bello, ben tenuto, con belle aree e posizione e servizio eccellenti. La camera pulita e confortevole, l'unica cosa che abbiamo trovato è che il bagno era piccolo. Abbiamo adorato il cibo del ristorante!

Qiwanglou si trova nel punto panoramico del Mountain Resort, precedentemente noto come la Sala Studio dell'Imperatore. L'hotel è su un pendio ripido. Dopo essere usciti dall'hotel e aver camminato lungo le mura della città, ci vogliono meno di cinque minuti per raggiungere l'ingresso del punto panoramico. L'ambiente dell'hotel è eccellente, anche se i servizi in camera sono un po' vecchi, l'atteggiamento nei confronti del servizio è particolarmente buono. È bassa stagione, non c'è molta gente e l'hotel è pulito ed elegante. La camera viene aggiornata gratuitamente al momento del check-in. Il cameriere ti accompagnerà con i bagagli. Anche l'atteggiamento di servizio del ristorante dell'hotel è molto buono. Il pacchetto è scontato. La reception fornisce anche vestiti antichi gratuiti da provare. Grazie per i meravigliosi ricordi che l'hotel ci porta, e ci tornerò la prossima volta.

Imperial Mountain Resort Chengde is within walking distance of the UNESCO Mountain Resort, super convenient. It is also close to the old town with many restaurants. The staff is very helpful and polite. The breakfast serves mainly Chinese food but is of good quality. There are nice courtyards for relaxing walks, frequented by a few deer.

Nice stay close to the main tourist attractions of Chengde. Gives the ambience like you live in the summer residence. Rooms are renovated and have all necessary amenities. Though the walls are a little thin. We were woken up both morning by loud voices in the corridor (other guests or cleaning staff). Breakfast is Chinese and not served as buffet during off-season. I would consider it rather basic but good quality. Highlights are the deers roaming around the hotel area freely.

Being a part of Chengde Imperial Mountain Resort, the hotel is one of Emperor Qianlong's 36 scenic spots of Chengde (#6). The hotel itself has a lot of historical value, not only the building but the garden areas. The tree in the middle of the compound is 300 years old and has been here since the beginning. Pro: location is one of the best if you're looking to visit Chengde Imperial Mountain Resort (500m away from the front gate), the rooms & beds are clean and comfortable. Con: one downside is that the breakfast buffet area, the facilities are dated and the breakfast options are geared towards more Chinese style breakfast, no Western continental breakfast here so come prepared.

Very scenic courtyard and garden. Compared to the atmosphere of the public area the standard guest rooms are disappointing. Located sous-terrain, quite dark. Comfortable but not justified the premium price.
