Chatham Tides

Our check-in / out went very smoothly. Your invoice was ready at check-out. Office staff was very friendly. We stayed in room #26, a studio room in the lower left side of the SUNTIDE building. It was clean, comfortable, but the bathroom was very small. The shower stall is about 34" wide, making it difficult for my 6', 200 lb. frame to shower. The little kitchenet had a Keurig coffee maker, a microwave, and a toaster. However, there is only a small bathroom sink to wash the plates and utensils. A small kitchen sink added would be much better. The bedding was very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, we had a couple that did a lot of walking in the above unit, that sounded like very heavy people. If we had to book again in that building, we would have opted for the upper floors. My wife was disappointed that the unit did not have a mirror on the wall somewhere, where she could use it to get ready to go out. We spoke to some workers that were remodeling the seaside rooms. Guess there is plans to do some improvements. Unfortunately, while we stayed there March 17-20, there was heavy equipment working on the beachfront, making it a bit noisy. It was nice falling asleep, listening to the waves crash on the beach, which was a benefit for being so close to the ocean. The south Chatham and Chatham area is very nice, with some scenic spots.

We live in Florida but wanted to get away from the spring breakers and enjoy my husband’s 50th birthday. We love the cold weather and when I saw pictures of the hotel on ******* I fell in love with it’s beauty and when we arrived the hotel was perfect, our room overlooked the ocean and because it was off season it was nice and quiet and located in a charming town. I would recommend it to everyone.

Awesome location overlooking a beautiful beach! Staff were incredibly friendly and most importantly, they went above and beyond for a special accommodation. Very clean and well maintained. Will definitely be staying here again in the future. Highly recommend!

Great location, sweet property. They have their own beach. Only downside , if you love coffee in the morning- it’s a bit of a drive. They only offer Keurig.

Very happy w hotel…view of ocean fabulous. Everything perfectly maintained. Would definitely return. Bathroom size was barely adequate..understandable as this is an old building. Bed was sooo high! (I’m only 5’ tall!)

This is an A+ hotel with one significant flaw. The bathrooms are extremly small-6'x5' at best with NO counter space! Otherwise, this is an A+ hotel in everyway: location, staff, spotless housekeeping, condition of the property all exceptional! But the bathrooms, for us is a huge deal breaker!

The grounds of Chatham Tides are absolutely beautiful. The bathrooms are extremely outdated and leave some room for improvement. Bathrooms in the oceanfront efficiencies are very very tight quarters and are not friendly for tall broad people and would not be good for families with small children.

We would definitely stay there again. No complaints. Whatever cleaning solution they use was over whelming (bleach?) We had to open the windows.

This property was perfect for a quiet & relaxing get-away. The beach was RIGHT there and mornings on our deck with its expansive view were phenomenal. The location was very convenient for daily site-seeing we wanted to do. We even added on an extra night while we were there. My husband forgot his binoculars at home and the office had a pair which they loaned him for four days! Very nice and accomodating staff.
