Right next to Trans Canada Hwy, trucks and cars all nite. Unable to check in, person eventually came along from who knows where. AC worked well, helped to drown out the traffic noise. Room wired largely with extension cords - how can this be approved by inspectors. No lites over the room table. Table with lamp on one side of the bed, not the other. Handle to door to bathroom coming off; I had to fix it. No ice in freezer. Room generally clean but beer can under bed. TV menu impenetrable; we could not get any TV channels. Curiously, no Trip Advisor reviews between 2019 and 2023.

Location was great for what we needed. Slowly undergoing renovations so the room was a nice surprise. Around back and quiet. John, the caretaker, has been working slowly to bring things back up to snuff and doing an OK job of it. New Ac, fridge in room along with microwave and coffee. Large bathroom. Overall very fair value for price.
