Upon arriving at HS, and after a 6 1/2 hour drive i was told that they had oversold rooms and i didnt have a room. I showed the clerk where i had paid for 3 nights in advance and i was entitled to a room. He left to go and talk to his manager and didnt return for 15 minutes. He then told me there was a room but the housekeeping team left at 5:00 and had not cleaned the room(Bear in mind it is now 9:15 in the evening. It wasnt until I put my foot down, did the clerk go back to call his manager again, not to return for another 15 minutes and he told me that there was a room available. 10 minutes later I asked about my room again and he said, "Oh, you'll have to go to the otherside(to the adjoining Hilton) as they will take care of you.
Thank goodness for the HIlton staff, who promptly and professionally took care of me.
