Hotel in zona Best Choice Soaps, Charlotte

The hotel was nice, and quiet, didn't hear doors slamming throughout the night like most hotels. Was told it was only 4 blocks from the convention center. Was actually like 10 blocks. Parking was a little over priced at $45. The valet never sent call links and it took 25-30 min to get our truck sometimes then they expected a tip as those links didn't seem to have any trouble getting through to my phone. Parking/valet would prob be my least favorite about the hotel. Breakfast was spot on! The staff were incredible in the breakfast area. Especially one lady I wish I had her name. My sone was getting over a chest cold and she made him a Honey Lemon Tea.

First off, it was completely not listed with IHG as being under construction. The lobby is closed, and there is no common area in the lobby, minus the restaurant, which does not open until 5pm. Front desk and staff are extremely kind. That’s the whole reason for the 2 stars. In terms of room - I’m currently sitting here trying to find us a different hotel to move to. First off, we have Platinum Elite status with IHG. I completely understand upgrades are subject to availability, and the hotel is busy this weekend. However, I would have expected to be put into a room that wouldn’t typically go to a Priceline customer. Our view is all of the mechanical roof. But, I have a hard time complaining too much about it, as the windows are so dirty, you can barely see the air ducts and other roof equipment. Out of the faucet, room temperature is the only option. Cold and hot don’t work. I needed a little warm water, so used the Keurig to heat some up and - 🤢. Just gross and dirty. The floor and beds appear clean, but overall, the room is drab and disappointing. Given how filthy some parts are though, we certainly won’t be going barefoot here. Had stayed here years ago for a wedding and it was fine. If I’d known it was being renovated, I would have certainly picked somewhere else. My suggestion - pick a different hotel for your visit to Charlotte! We’re flying down for 3 more games this season, and will definitely be staying elsewhere!

Ho fatto un volo precoce dall'aeroporto CLT e ho capito che sarebbe stato saggio stare in un hotel a Charlotte. L'Occidentale Sterling Hotel e Suites ha una navetta aeroportuale, quindi è una scelta perfetta. L'hotel è ragionevolmente prezzi, ha chiuso le porte esterne la sera, quindi è venduto. Ci sono ristoranti vicino a qualche anche a piedi. Ho lasciato un prezioso articolo all'hotel. Il personale mi ha chiamato a casa per informarmi che avevano il prodotto e quando non potevo tornare immediatamente il manager era abbastanza gentile da postare il prodotto.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The smoking area right out front was in a terrible spot, soon as you walk out of the hotel you smell the smoke. The room was clean. The bed was terrible not very comfortable at all. That would be the 2 things that I think need improved.

Le strutture erano pulite durante il nostro ultimo soggiorno, praticando il distanziamento sociale e fornendo disinfettante per le mani in modo che i viaggiatori mantenessero le mani sempre pulite. La posizione era molto comoda per fare shopping e mangiare per gli arrivi a tarda notte. Consiglierei la posizione ad altri viaggiatori. Il cibo era il migliore che potesse essere con la presenza del Covid

Checked into the hotel has started off with bad front desk service right off the bat. Then when we got to the room our key card did not work, had to go back down to get it reloaded. Was told if you get it close to your cell phone it will deactivate. (One lady said she had to go down 3 times). The. We got into the room and it smelled like straight mold. Just a overall bad experience at this hotel. Will not stay here ever again. Coffee was good though

Soggiorno di 5 giorni/4 notti. Il personale era SUPER gentile e disponibile!!! Prima di entrare nella stanza, noti come dopo che il personale ha pulito e igienizzato la stanza, la stanza viene quindi sigillata per non entrare. Ho pensato che fosse fantastico. A causa del COVID ancora rapido, è stato bello vedere che hanno preso precauzioni EXTRA per garantire l'igienizzazione della stanza e il fatto che nessuno fosse in grado di entrare nella stanza dopo essere stato pulito. Quindi ti garantiamo una stanza pulita e igienizzata senza domande! La posizione è ottima/comoda. Sei in un'area commerciale ma leggermente arretrato nel lato residenziale delle cose. Super tranquillo e pacifico. Ottima zona per passeggiate/corse. Perché un 4 stelle se così grande? Bene, la macchina per il ghiaccio era al primo piano e io al quarto. Inoltre la colazione non era eccezionale. Non ci sono molte opzioni e l'ora in cui è stata servita la colazione (potrebbe durare almeno fino alle 10:00). Ma nel complesso ci tornerei sicuramente, porterò solo la mia colazione e il secchiello del ghiaccio. Problema risolto lol
