We ate at Thunderbird fried chicken tonight…. UNBELIEVABLE food! I love food, so I really appreciate good scran. Troy, Luke, Mido and Virag were all super friendly and chatty. Genuinely the best chicken wings I have ever eaten!! 10/10 would recommend!

We have just arrived back from southview. We have had a great time. The caravan was cleanish but the carpet hadn’t been hoovered as there was do hair all over the carpet. We didn’t have a grill pan but rang reception and got one within the hour. My boys did some of the activities Zorbing,hoverboard,climbing wall,high ropes,gel blasters and aqua jets they have throughly enjoyed themselves and being able to swim at any general swim time was great they really enjoyed themselves slide. The site was cleanish and tidy and like how the hedges make it more private in areas so it doesn’t look so big. Entertainment was abit samey the acts that were bought in were fantastic. The app was easy to use but we had to wait a long time easier to go the bar but very expensive We went in the boathouse for breakfast food was lovely it was just unfortunate that the tvs were on full blast with kids programmes. We didn’t use the bus on site but there was one into Skegness every hour. Shop was abit pricey but also and b&m are 5 mins away. All in all we have had a great time we are coming back in our tourer in august

Well what can I say after doing a takeaway option for my mum and dine in for myself it was outstanding! Order took 10 minutes during a mad rush for delivery also staff very welcoming and friendly. Food very well packaged and vibrant. Chips was crispy on exterior and nice and fluffy interior. Service was with a smile by Mido, Alfy, Maisey and Troy! Chicken very tender not too crispy just right and yet still full of wholesome flavour! There was a trainee staff member on I believe and everyone was so understanding and supportive as a team should be. Nice clean outside dining, very filling meal and very tasty in my opinion better than KFC! They make this chicken with love. If you are on site or nearby to this venue . Thunderbirds are GO!

Having had the pleasure of staying at this hotel on numerous occasions in the past, I have consistently shared positive experiences in my previous reviews. Regrettably, I find myself compelled to express a markedly different sentiment regarding my most recent visit, which has unfortunately tarnished my overall impression of the hotel. During our stay coinciding with the recent heatwave, the discomfort within our room was palpable. The windows, which could only be opened a mere few centimetres, offered little in the way of ventilation, rendering the room stiflingly warm. The portable fan provided was ineffective and inadequate for the size of the accommodation, resulting in an uncomfortably oppressive environment that significantly detracted from our ability to relax. In addition to the issues encountered with our room, we experienced various concerns within the entertainment room. This area quickly became overcrowded, thereby hindering any clear pathways through the tables. An abundance of uncollected empty glasses littered the tables, contributing to a sense of disarray that was anything but welcoming. While I understand that the sale of popcorn can enhance the enjoyment of guests, the resultant scattering of popcorn across the floor was rather off-putting. Although I recognise that this issue is not solely the hotel’s fault, it nonetheless detracted from the overall ambience. Breakfast service presented a mixed experience. On one hand, the selection was well-stocked, catering to a range of tastes. However, I was dismayed to find a full tray of glasses for beverages that were not clean. I brought this to the attention of the lady overseeing the breakfast service, and she promptly removed the dirty glasses. Unfortunately, the replacement glasses she delivered were, regrettably, warm rather than at a desirable temperature, further marred my dining experience. The most unsettling incident during our stay occurred on the second night when a stranger inadvertently entered our room through the connecting door at midnight. He appeared just as alarmed as we were, under the impression that he was entering the bathroom. This unforeseen and distressing breach of privacy was deeply upsetting for all involved and is an experience that should never be allowed to transpire. Following this incident, I raised the matter with the receptionist on duty that night; however, her reaction was unexpectedly dismissive, characterised by laughter instead of understanding. The following morning, I discussed the occurrence with James, the hotel manager, who took the matter more seriously, for which I must commend him. Regrettably, the sense of unease stemming from that unsettling encounter severely impacted our ability to rest. Consequently, we managed to get little sleep and ultimately made the decision to check out earlier than planned, forgoing breakfast and, regrettably, losing a full day in Skegness—an opportunity that we had been eagerly anticipating. Mido was absolutely amazing, I was so deflated and he really made me happy bless! Last day was giving me holiday blues. A very welcoming and warm smile! Very outgoing which is absolutely necessary!!

i did a escape room at southveiw and had a great time out helper was called rory and is was very nice and kind he gave us clues when we needed them and was great at explaining things if you go to southview i recommend you do the escape room it was well themed and challenging
