Shuxiang Inn (Chaozhou Ancient City Paifang Street)

The only thing good about the hotel is location. It's old building. No washing machine as stated in the website. Service is bad.

I think this place has potential. The location is excellent if you like Paifang Street. Even the corridor leading to the room was nicely decorated. However, the room was disappointing. The air conditioning was weak, and in summer, it was very uncomfortable. The ventilation fan was noisy. The hotel gave us paper disposable bath towels, so drying yourself with kitchen paper towels after a bath is like doing it yourself. It also means you can not reuse the towels for another bath. I thought, why don't they offer proper bath towels like all other hotels? Is it because they can't handle the washing? What about the bed sheets and linen? Do they wash them after every guest if they can't handle towels? Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night because we arrived quite late. The next morning, we found another hotel. But to be fair, the staff is friendly, and the location is convenient. However, the room's cleanliness, especially the air conditioning and ventilation, could improve.

The rooms are spacious and located very convenient. Services were great
