I stayed at Elysia Hotel for four nights, and our experience was nothing short of spectacular from start to finish. Even before we arrived, the hotel staff were exceptionally communicative, ensuring every detail of our stay was perfectly arranged. The hotel itself is stunning, beautifully decorated, warm, and inviting. Its location is a true 10/10: right in the heart of the old town, with bars, restaurants, shops, and sights all just steps away. And the staff… where to begin? Absolutely phenomenal. Every member of the team was willing to help, assist, and advise us at any moment. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made us feel welcomed from the moment we stepped through the door. A special thank you to Demostenis and his entire team for going above and beyond throughout our stay. Breakfast was elegant, high quality, and delicious, and the service each morning was excellent. Our rooms were spacious, spotless, and modern, everything you’d hope for in a boutique hotel and more. I would highly, highly recommend Elysia Hotel. I couldn’t have anything better to say about the experience, the hotel itself, and most importantly, the incredible staff. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Chania, this is the place! Small and quaint hotel with uniquely large rooms in the best location surrounded by fabulous restaurants and shopping with the beach just minutes away by foot. We stayed in the Premium Maisonette Suite with balcony and although the balcony was extrememly small, it was a beautiful room with a King bed upstairs and shower/toilets on both levels. A very urban warehouse vibe! But what really makes this hotel special is the staff! Truly world class service in regards to taking care of all your needs - providing directions, making restaurant reservations, offering shopping recommendations! Special thanks to Dinos and Manuel who exceeded my expectations for fabulous service! If there is availability, this is where you want to stay!!

We stayed at Elysia in September for a week, the hotel still being in its first year of operation. The hotel and room itself were immaculate, obviously everything is still new but it has all been done to a high quality. We had a duplex apartment with 2 shower-rooms one on each level (B2) and there was plenty of space and all the facilities that you’d expect. If I had one suggestion for improvement, the safe was too small and very awkward to reach under the stairs but that wasn’t a major point. The breakfast (a la carte, included on our booking) was the highlight and the chap that served (every day, I hope he does get a day off!) is a real credit to the hotel, all the staff were very helpful and polite. It is located centrally and only a short walk from the Venetian harbour area, although taxi drivers seem to struggle to know how to get there (the street in front is one way). Word of warning: it’s hard to find as the name of the hotel does not face the front (they should add a sign) - the entrance is to the side up a narrow side passage. Look for the car rental shop on the corner and go up the sloping passage opposite past the little bars (or straight up the small flight of steps opposite the wall ruins).

Stayed here for two nights and early September. This hotel has it all. Great location, super friendly staff. Good food, welcome drink and pleasant roads. Our room had a balcony overlooking the street of town. Close the beaches and free public parking is nearby.

We stayed here for 3 nights in August in the Presidential Maisonette Suite with a terrace with my family of 4. Prior to our arrival, e-mail communication was great and they helped organize a private transfer from the airport. Our suite was spacious and very clean. Some free drinks and sweets were a nice treat upon arrival. This hotel is in a perfect location! It was close to all the shops and restaurants but also had good soundproofing so it was quiet inside. It was also right next to the rental car shop UDrive which made renting a car a breeze. The made-to-order included breakfast was over the top amazing!! The staff were all very polite and attentive, especially the breakfast waiter. He was so kind and told us some history regarding some of the dishes. Would definitely stay here again! My only rec would be to add a mini-fridge but we used the minibar instead.
