Hotel in zona Catholic Church, Chania

We stayed here on our first time visit to Crete and it did not disappoint! The hotel is in the heart of the Old Town and a few feet from a plethora of restaurants and shops! The hotel is situated in front of the harbor that is buzzing with people and activities. Our room had an amazing sea view! We could not get enough of the gorgeous view! Our room was well-sized and pretty. The hotel staff were very attentive and accommodating. The included breakfast was generous and included traditional Cretan fare with fruits, pastries, eggs, assorted breads, etc., Neo Chora beach is walking distance from the hotel. We spent an enjoyable time on this quiet beach. I would stay here again and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

Ottimo hotel con posizione centralissima in zona piena di negozi e supermercati,vicinissima alla città vecchia.Pulizia eccellente effettuata tutti i giorni tranne la domenica,personale molto cottese e la colazione è servita in box lunch.Non ha un parcheggio privato ma è possibile parcheggiare lungo le strade limitrofe.Consigliatissimo

Il nostro hotel è stato un doccia di energia, acqua da 5 punti diversi. e la pressione e la temperatura dell'acqua perfetta. Bella piscina e giardino, anche se era un po' freddo quando abbiamo visitato. Bella ascensore al piano superiore - con lato di vetro in modo da non claustrofobico come la maggior parte dei piccoli ascensori. La colazione è molto buona per un piccolo hotel (solo circa 5 camere in uso quando ci siamo fermati) con una grande scelta di pascoli e roba continentale, che non mangio normalmente, ma che questa volta facevo una grande eccezione. Il cuoco ci ha fatto omelete ogni giorno su richiesta (nessun altro ne ha avuto e tutti gli altri sembravano gelosi) Parcheggio gratuito e l'hotel era a soli 200 metri dalla spiaggia e dalle rotte di autobus. Alcuni ristoranti decenti nella zona o camminare in Chania (circa 1.15 ore) o prendere un autobus. Hotel nuovo e senza scena, WiFi decente e altre strutture, tra cui un fantastico produttore di caffè (ma avrei preferito un caldo) Sicuramente consigliere e sicuramente ritornerò se avessi visitato Chania di nuovo

We’ve just returned from a 12 night break at this hotel. Can’t recommend it enough! If you’re after a quiet relaxing break away from the bustle of a busy tourist resort then do consider Lena Beach Hotel. THE HOTEL stands just above the sea in the beautiful bay of Kalathas. There is a lovely sandy beach a 2 minute walk away. It’s just a 20 minute drive from the airport where you can pick up a hire car or the hotel will arrange a taxi for you at a cost of 27€. Noise from commercial planes is minimal. However there is a NATO airbase next to the main airport and so you should be aware that the noise of military aircraft is quite noticeable maybe 4 times a day. This would NOT stop us going again though! THE STAFF are what make this hotel outstanding in our opinion. They all do their jobs beautifully and with smiles! From the cleaners who kept our rooms spotless, to the reception staff who were always willing to help with any queries we had, and the bar and restaurant staff who even on very busy nights still kept smiling……. We are so grateful to you all for making our stay so enjoyable! THE FOOD…… Although we had a few meals out in Chania and Stavros it was always a delight to eat at the Lena Beach Restaurant. The menu was extensive and varied and everything was beautifully cooked and presented. We found plenty to choose from each day. THE ROOMS…… the hotel is traditional in style, not the most modern of furnishings but the important thing for me is always whether the bed is comfortable. Yes it was! I often have trouble sleeping in hotel beds but the king size bed was perfect both size and comfort wise. The air con in the bedroom was very efficient when the temperature outside was in the 30s and exterior roller blinds darkened the rooms well at night. IN SUMMARY….. we can highly recommend staying at The Lena Beach Hotel and hope to return next year.
