**Exceptional Stay at 236 FUNGEE Hotel – A Hidden Gem in Changsha** As a frequent traveler to Hunan, Changsha, I’ve stayed at many hotels around IFS and Wuyi Square, but traffic and congestion have always been an issue—until now. 236 FUNGEE Hotel was a refreshing change! Located just an 8-minute walk from IFS, it offers both convenience and peace. A huge thank you to Dong Cheng and Peng Peng for their warm welcome and outstanding hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for. The hotel was exceptionally clean—far beyond my expectations. Room service and complimentary laundry service were provided daily without fail, which made our stay all the more comfortable. We also chose to upgrade with the breakfast buffet, and it was absolutely worth it. The portions were generous and the food was delicious every single morning. A special highlight of our stay was the extraordinary support we received on our last day. My younger brother misplaced his necklace, and when we reported it, the hotel manager immediately engaged a team to help. Their swift and thorough action led to the necklace being found and returned to us—an act of kindness and professionalism we deeply appreciated. Special thanks to the beautiful and kind-hearted manager—you truly have a golden heart. We are more than happy with our experience and will definitely return for our next visit to Changsha. It was pretty easy to locate the hotel location. The room was clean and we managed to grab the breakfast before heading for our train to Zhangjiajie. Overall the experience was alright, but I think we would have preferred more enthusiastic group of staff at the hotel! 

Great place to stay, not noisy. The room was clean, beds were comfy, but unfortunately AC wasn't working, only heater was working during winter (some hotels disable the cooling part of AC, and your room can get quite hot and stuffy without it). For the first night, they moved me to another room temporarily as the room reached 28C. The following days they provided me a portable fan and that worked well enough actually (room dropped to around 18-20C with the heater turned off). Their service was quick and great, so can't complain about that. The room was great, it had a big projector, and everything can be voice controlled or using the switches by the bed. The internet speed was good enough to stream and cast stuff to the screen. They provided drinking water, toiletries, some tea and an electric kettle. They also had a gym (must go to the lobby and ask them to tap Level 2 Gym floor for you) and free laundry and dryers (must be booked through WeChat/Weixin as it's not self service). The hotel was also walkable to some stores as well! The train station was also 5 mins away from the hotel, so that made things super convenient.

The room is very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect as it is in the city centre. It could be a bit confusing because there are many hotels with similar name but the address in the app is correct. The hotel staff is not very friendly but does their job. Gym equipment is broken but better than nothing. For budget travellers it's a good place to stay.

Service is great. Highly recommend. Come with many complimentary services.

The room was nice and clean. A real contrast if you compare it to other hotels within the same price range. The staff was helped us with our laundry when we where strugeling. The breakfast was verry decent.
