Red Earth Tadoba

It was a memorable 3 day stay at Red Earth. For how remote it is, the place is beautiful teeming with flora and fauna, at the junction of wild nature and civilization. Even the snacks times are set in open air with lit lanterns and a cozy bonfire. Our stay was made extremely comfortable and entertaining thanks to Dhiyanshu and the staff at Red Earth for all their care and attention. Dhiyanshu, a naturalist. is a wealth of knowledge and made our safaris about so much more than just spotting the tiger (which we did!). Truly a wonderful experience.

Red Earth Jungle Resort, Tadoba – A Wildly Good Time! If you're looking for a place where adventure meets comfort (and the Wi-Fi probably taps out in fear of the jungle), Red Earth Jungle Resort is it. Smack in the middle of Tadoba’s buffer zone, this place doesn’t just bring you close to nature—it gently shoves you into its leafy arms (with love and a side of adrenaline). We were welcomed by Jeselina, a super-cool naturalist who made the jungle feel less “AAAH!” and more “Aahhh.” Enter Sanath—super naturalist, super pally, and chose to be a part-time only for us room escort—who walked us to our cozy haven while dropping jungle wisdom (and a few wild animals and insect warnings). The restaurant became our safe space—with serene pool views and food that tasted like your mom’s cooking took a tropical vacation. Homilicious, we call it—home-style comfort, resort-level flair. The safaris? Seamless. No glitches, no chaos—just well-paced rides, warm company, and zero stress about becoming tiger snacks. The naturalists made us feel like jungle insiders—minus the awkward family dynamics. Day two brought a peaceful bird-watching session with Sanath. We expected a few sleepy pigeons, but it turned into Bird Idol: Jungle Edition. And later, Mohan took us on a safari that could’ve been a nature-comedy special—full of wildlife, insights, and giggles. And then there was Bharani, the 6 AM bird-whisperer who somehow made early mornings feel like VIP access to a secret forest rave (Drongo, paradise and bee-eaters). Our room? Earthy, elegant, and spacious—with an open-air bathroom that made us feel like we were showering in a luxury wildlife documentary. (Yes, it’s private. No, the deer don’t judge.) In short: incredible place, even better people, food that hugged the soul, and only one major issue—we didn’t want to leave. Thank you, Red Earth Team, for making us feel like pampered royalty… in TIGER country.

Food was fantastic. Ambience was awesome. And most importantly the hospitality and warmth of the staff was something we have never experienced earlier. The hotel manager jaswin, key support team pallavi, jezreena, gayatri were simply outstanding. They treat you as family and not as guest. Their special human touch made our stay memorable, wanting us to go back again!

Property is good but management issue, they try to cut cost and poor staff has to suffer from guests. Verry poor food choices. Some of the staff are very rude, you do not get proper bill or receipt on check out. Highly priced comparing the services namaste food. Beautiful property is ruined by owners rude ness. Will never recommend any one to go to this hotel.

Bathroom is really messy as opened from 3 sides. Too many insects coming through upvc sliding doors during night. Which bits very badly

Red Earth Tadoba is a great place to stay for people who want to experience safari and it facilitated the luxary even though being authentic 1. Very friendly staff 2. ⁠Great food with lots of varieties every day and they were able to accommodate our requests as well 3. ⁠Naturalists have great knowledge on animals 4. ⁠Naturalists will accompany you in your safari with some snacks, water and share their knowledge which will enhance your safari experience.
