I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the hotel we recently stayed at, which was booked based on its purported 4-star rating. The actual experience was absolutely horrendous, and I am baffled as to how this establishment earned such a high rating unless there is negligence or something questionable about the rating process itself. Key Issues Encountered: 1 Substandard Hygiene: The cleanliness of the premises was far below acceptable standards. The rooms, restrooms, and shared spaces were poorly maintained, raising serious concerns about health risks to the guests. 2 Safety Concerns: The hotel lacked adequate safety measures, creating an uncomfortable and potentially dangerous environment for its visitors. 3 Misleading Ratings: The discrepancy between the claimed 4-star rating and the reality of the hotel's condition is alarming. This raises suspicions about the integrity of the rating system. Furthermore, there are rumors that the company managing this hotel may be on the brink of bankruptcy. If this is the case, why has no action been taken to ensure that tourists are informed about such situations or that quality standards are upheld? Lastly, I am disappointed with Chandigarh Tourism's oversight in maintaining basic hygiene and safety standards for hotels in the area. It reflects poorly on the city and undermines its reputation as a travel destination.
