Hotel in zona 77 Club at Memorial Stadium, Champaign

We had an unfortunate incident occur on our drive north back to Wisconsin on our way to this hotel. It added at least three hours to our travel time and caused us to arrive at 2 AM. I called the hotel ahead of time to let them know that we were going to have a late arrival and asked if there would be someone there. They were very polite and told us not to worry, they will have a room for us and there is somebody at the desk 24 hours. We rolled in extremely tired. When my husband went to the desk, they were so apologetic. We had ordered a deluxe king room through *******. I’m not exactly sure what happened, but they must not have had any more king rooms, or any rooms available for that matter. However, they gave us the suite portion of a king suite that wasn’t being used, which only had a pullout sofa for a bed. They were very polite and very apologetic and offered to comp the room. We were tired and exhausted and still had another day of travel ahead of us to get home, so we were just happy to have a place to stay. I had to mark off one star for the fact that we slept on a rickety sofa bed, however, I believe it probably wasn’t the hotel’s fault. They were very accommodating, professional, yet personable. So had this not occurred, I would’ve given them a five star review. I feel bad knocking off a star. Our little adjoining suite portion, was very clean. The pedestal bathroom sink was sufficient, considering that it was really intended for handwashing rather than overnight staying. The shower was nice. The room would’ve been great as a suite portion connected to a king suite. It was decorated nicely. It had a beverage refrigerator stocked with water. The pull out bed was not so comfortable, but I was able to sleep. We have begun to laugh about the experience now, after all we went through that night. The continental breakfast was held in the attached Houlihan’s restaurant. They had hot oatmeal and nice yogurt options. There were wonderful tiny mini little cinnamon rolls. They also had egg sandwich wraps, fruit, juice, etc. The lobby was huge and spacious. There was original artwork on the walls. There was a refrigerator that was stocked with complementary water bottles. I wouldn’t mind staying there again if I could get a regular room.

La posizione dell'hotel è eccellente, la camera è grande e le strutture sono complete.L'ambiente circostante è sicuro, andare a scuola è conveniente e c'è trasporto pubblico.La colazione è relativamente unica (cosa è anche la colazione americana).

Ho avuto un buon riposo... Il bagaglio è anche libero dopo il check-out... tutti erano molto gentili! (E per il lavoro, ho controllato dopo il check-out, ma ho capito tutto!)

L'hotel era pulito e convenientemente situato vicino alla famiglia che abbiamo visitato. Il lobby era spazioso, come le camere. La struttura era un po' strano da navigare, con il centro conferenze allegato. Alcune delle porte dietro di loro hanno anche detto che potevi entrare con la chiave dell'hotel, ma poi non c'erano scanner per entrare. Dirò che siamo venuti in un'enorme estensione di energia che ha lasciato molti locali senza potere, quindi l'hotel era in imballaggio. La donna al di fuori del dipartimento era molto timido, ma probabilmente era stata sconvolta da chiamate da persone senza potere per vedere se ci fossero camere, quando sicuramente non ci fossero camere. Non stava gestendo bene la situazione. E anche, c'era un gran parcheggio, ma era completamente pieno. Questo era frustrante quando abbiamo prenotato una prenotazione per settimane e aspettando un posto per parcheggiare la nostra auto. L'abbiamo fatto funzionare. E'stato bene.

Siamo rimasti a casa2 durante una visita all'università dell'UIUC e apprezzammo il personale amichevole. Quando arrivarono, mi ringraziarono per essere un diamante e mi dissero di avermi trovato in una 4a (top) stanza per la nostra preferenza. Il colazione gratuito è stato simile ad altre offerte Home2 (omelette preparate, salsa e biscotti d'uovo, stazione di waffle, yogurt, pasta di ovo e riparazioni), ma il personale è stato amichevole e utile. Il nostro soggiorno è stato Molly, il manager dell'hotel, che ci ha concesso un check-out tardivo a causa del nostro status di diamante (la visita UIUC termina alle 12:30, quindi volevamo vedere se potessimo restare un po' dopo il solito check-out a mezzogiorno contro il vacanza precoce nel mattutina, e lei ha fatto il lavoro nonostante fossero venduti la notte successiva, dicendo che il loro hotel e Hilton valgono Diamonds, che è un bel toccamento rispetto ad altre esperienze di hotel che abbiamo avuto). L'hotel è stato costruito intorno al 2015, ha una piscina al primo piano, è incluso il colazione caldo, parcheggio disponibile intorno all'edificio - l'hotel è situato in una zona commerciale e a sud-ovest del campus UIUC. Ci siamo trasferiti brevemente, ma ci è piaciuto!

Bad experience staying here. The room floor was sticky. When I requested them to clean my room, they told me it is once in three days. They cleaned the floor when I insisted but not the rest of the room. Breakfast is poor quality with no cut fresh fruit and minimal number of items. The mattress on the sofa bed was soiled with big pink stains! Even though it is very close to campus, parking is not convenient. Parking access is confusing. There is a big garbage dumpster in front of the parking lot that stinks! You cannot avoid smelling the stuff as the only access to the hotel after parking the car is from the dumpster. Will avoid this hotel for my future UIUC visits.

Il servizio dell'hotel di ricezione è anche buono, specialmente PN. Ci sono servizi di trasporto gratuito. La stanza è grande e le strutture sono complete. La colazione è molto ricco.

We arrived late on a Friday night. We are titanium lifetime members and had received a suite upgrade so was excited about that as I had my wife and teenage daughter with us. There was no mention of our status, nor anything offered (breakfast, points, etc). When we arrived in the room there was a smell, a musty odor, covered up in part by some sort of fragrance. Unfortunately the room was not in good shape. We first noticed there was a sofa bed that accomodated one, but had no sheets, blankets, pillows in the room. We attempted to call the front desk but both of the phones in the room were not connected/not working. So walked back to the front desk to get some of the items needed to sleep on the sofa bed. Unfortunately when we opened it it was very dirty so my daughter slept on the top of the (curved) small sofa. In the bedroom their was a large web above the bed and in the main room we opened a drawer when looking for the sheets and the drawer wouldn't even close half way. I reported these items to the front desk.

L'hotel è stato bello, e sono in fase di aggiornamento, quindi il tappeto nella hall è bellissimo e alcune camere hanno bellissime nuove bagni e altre sono ancora vecchie, ma in generale è bello. Hanno avuto un problema con la cucina e il servizio sanitario lo ha chiuso, quindi avevano appena preimballato le cose per colazione.Niente caldo o refrigerato.Ma stanno lavorando su di essa. C'era un manager di azienda, e era molto amichevole, e si è reso evidente che aveva addestrato il personale. Saleema, il manager assistente, era eccellente. Sono certo che l'hotel continuerà a migliorare.
