Hôtel du Golf de l'Ailette the Originals Relais

Resa facile avec trip. Accueil sympathique. Bon hotel environnement magnifique. Un peu de bruit du voisin en haut mais s’arrête a minuit, ouf. Il y a des chargeurs de voiture , gratuit pour Tesla, mais payant a l’accueil pour ceux qui ont de la voiture électrique. Je reviendrai. Aucune idée s’il y a package hotel+golf.

Stunning location and our room was amazing! It was particularly spacious and overlooked the lake. Decor was very refined and the bathroom exceptionally clean. There was a kettle and fridge in the room. The meal in the restaurant was very good - although the Omelette Norvegienne was not! The meringue was ‘set’ and cold - not nice!

This was the second time we stayed in the hotel Du Golf de L 'aillette. The athmosphere is very nice, the location is great and the staff is very helpfull. The food is very good. As we need a room for a person with reduced mobiulity, the room in the hoter is very good and comfortable

Loved the location on the lake lovely foams great breakfast , overall a great experience, would recommend it to any other travellers in the area, staff and accommodation were of a good standard although when you first approached the buildings it looked a bit drab

We ended our French summer holiday at this hotel, hoping for some down time after a busy and hot few days in Paris. From the icy reception to the lack of service at the pool or bar, the service standards were non existent and we were often made to feel as if our presence was an inconvenience to the staff. The pool area was filthy with bird poo and spider webs and when I brought this to the staffs attention they seemed annoyed that I even dare complain. I was told nothing could be done about the bird poo and spider webs all over the eating area in the pool terrace. It was unhygienic and uncomfortable to sit by the pool. The airconditioning in our room did not work, and when I asked at reception about this I was told the temperatures are controlled centrally and the aircon will only be activated at 25 degrees as this is the norm in France. I asked if they could make our room colder as we cannot sleep in that sort of hear and the room comes with airconditioning and the staff member seemed very annoyed at my request. Every request for anything at this hotel is met with an attitude of being put out. Food was reasonably good but drinks are ridiculously expensive. More expensive than central Paris. 12 Euros for a beer. Fine for a 5 star hotel but with the service of this hotel, I was not happy paying these prices. We tried to eat out at other options in the area to avoid the bad service and unwelcome hotel feeling. The hotel has a beautiful pool and lake which is its only redeeming quality.
