We stayed for just the one night on our way to Loire Valley, but Isabelle and Jonathan treated us like special guests right from the moment we arrived. Rooms and facilities are excellent. Great food using local produce. They both make you feel really welcome. We will definitely be back. Thank you both.

Absolutely perfect. We were looking for somewhere to stay for a single night to break our car journey but wanted an experience that wasn't a chain hotel just off the peage. In La Doucelle we found exactly what we were looking for. Isabelle and Jonathan are great hosts : extremely warm, welcoming and personable. They made sure our stay was super comfortable. The rooms are well designed and very comfortable. The food and drink are amazing, sourced and prepared by Isabelle and Jonathan using local ingredients. To be honest we wished we could have stayed longer (next time). We'd hihgly recommend La Doucelle and look forward to sampling it's delights again in the future.

This place is a gem! Truly embodies the notion of a Bed & Brekfast! Run by a lovely couple Johnathan and Isabel, a pair of creatives who creates this beautiful place with 5/5 bedrooms in a stately home. With a cave for sound baths, a massive back garden to lounge in, this is a great place to chill and enjoy the nature. Rooms are beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast of consists of locally sourced viennoiserie, home made confiture and a good dose of Johnathan’s quirky music taste coming through from the living room. This couple loves to entertain and will do all they can to advise us on what to do and where to go. They are lovely and lively, with much to share. We’ll definitely be back again!

Jonathan and Isabel were very welcoming hosts, there was another couple and a family staying there also. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were both good, and relaxed, informal. We got in, had a cider in the garden, then played petanque, with a cider and a beer before dinner. As far from a chain hotel as you could get . Just a great little hotel

We went to this housse with my girlfriend to have a nice weekend off the city... First, the hosts were amazing, making us feel welcome and at home straight away. We asked for some food when booking the weekend, and the host made us amazing fresh pastas with fresh ingredients from their garden (5 stars on its own !). Quite original as well, the host proposed to us a relaxation session with ******* bowls !!! Never heard of that before but that was really really good. We left refreshed and rested like we haven't for quite a while. Cannot recommend it enough !

Marcheurs sur le GR22, cette étape est la bienvenue. Très belle demeure au jardin bucolique. L'accueil est exceptionnel de gentillesse. L'esprit de convivialité est appréciable. La cuisine est digne d'un chef avec des produits locaux et artisanaux. Propreté impeccable, literie irréprochable . Simplement parfait !

Ma cousine m’a emmenée pédaler trois jours sur les routes de l’Orne. On a mis les vélos dans le train gare Montparnasse, direction l’Aigle avec pour destination Lignières Orgères à La Doucelle. Nous avons passé un doux weekend grâce à la chaleureuse maison et le superbe accueil d’Isabelle et Jonathan. La table d’hôtes est vraiment très bonne, la literie parfaite, Isabelle et Jonathan sont prévenants et joyeux et plein de super conseils pour visiter les environs. N’hésitez pas !

De passage à La Doucelle à vélo, nous avons apprécié l'accueil . Soirée dans une ambiance calme et de très bon e qualité, aussi bien sur la qualité des repas et des hébergements Je recommande de vivement
