Hotel in zona Wat Nong Ta Pod, Distretto di Cha-am

This hotel is not exactly smack in the middle of Cha-am nor Hua Hin. However, it is a true retreat by itself. Like an oasis that pops in the middle of the rural landscape just north of Cha-am, the weekend here was a bustle of activities. Very popular with families with kids. There were so many kids here filling up the main and kids’ pool on Saturday. As the weekend ended, on the late afternoon of Sunday and a good half of Monday, the resort turned peaceful. Finally, there was more water then Children. The kiddy pool has a large air-filled dome sprouting water sky high. Both kids and adults were having fun climbing up and sliding down the feature. In the main pool, they have a permanent floating obstacle course called a Wibit. It was enjoyable watching people, including children, crash and fall into the water as they attempted to complete the course. So Sofitel Hua Hin is just filled to the brim with amenities. They have a kids’ club, a mini golf full of mythical figurines and a cycling track. One can ride their complementary bicycle, or have children rent their mini mopeds, scooters and other toy-ish vehicles. They have a games room (but it was hot), a mini tennis court and a bigger one that doubles as a basketball court. 4 pools in total on this land parcel perpendicular to the sea. The one near the beachfront has a jacuzzi, and there is yet another one in front of the gym. A beach restaurant fringes the not so friendly ocean. The sea was rough and murky. The water came up the break wall that prevents the garden from spilling into the sea. There is a mini sand beach with a few deck chairs, but it wasn’t much of a beach. Breakfast and dinner, we had them in their main restaurant called White Oven. It was really an oven, the air-conditioning needs some work. Otherwise it was pleasing to sit outdoors in the light morning breeze. The breakfast was extensive, a good wide mix of local and western dishes. Moo Ping (pork satays morning version) was superbly tasty and tender. The gravy for Kanom Jin (Thai rice noodle) was of a good rich density. There was also ice cream served in the buffet. However, the chicken rice was off, and their Pla Tong Kor (dough fritters) was a failure in texture and in taste. For the two mornings I had them, I do not know if it was just me, they had a strong hint of something medical. The room we had was So Family that has two bunk beds tucked into the side behind the master bed. The room was a whopping 60 square meters and was intensely decorated. If you live in a condominium, you will wish your studio is as trendy as this. The bathroom is massive. I love the floor to ceiling shower best. They have push buttons to turn on the water. There is one that produce moderate rain, another for heavy rain, and I was looking for the third that produce hurricane. It is not available. The Chinese Restaurant Fu Lue Woman Manager- Som for no apparent reason has been very unprofessionally rude, repugnant and impertinent to me! Not once but every visit of mine is met with such obnoxious attitude. She would tell me that they are very busy and the food would take more than an hour and a half to serve even though the restaurant is not even half full! Whatever I order from the menu she would tell me it’s finished including desserts but then I see others ordering it and it’s being served to them. Also, I have not finished my order she would pretend to assume I have finished ordering and walked away! She would pursed her lips, give me a contemptuous glare and make a “tsk” sound with her tongue when I continued ordering! No one can fathom what kind of service staff would be so vicious and vile in service like Som! She’s a total disgrace to both the hospitality and service industry! Definitely NOT an asset but a TOTAL LIABILITY to the organisation that chose to hire her. One rotten egg spoils the entire basket! I don’t recommend this Chinese Restaurant.

Our stay at Baba Beach Club Hua Hin was a harmonious fusion of modern elegance, gastronomic excellence, and tranquil natural beauty. Set amidst lush greenery, this chic beachside retreat offered luxurious amenities and thoughtful touches that elevated our romantic getaway. The Baba Grand Corner Suite (Suite number 3411 – located on the 11th floor) served as our luxurious haven, featuring an expansive 90 degree balcony with day beds that provided the perfect spot to unwind and admire the stunning sunset views. The suite's contemporary design, complemented by innovative lighting, created a romantic ambiance that resonated throughout our stay. We also noticed that the fittings and furnishings and all the materials used in the room and bathroom were of high quality. The large bathroom with soak-in tub, shower and the separate automatic toilet system were also appreciated. All-in-all the technologies used scream modernity and sophistication.   Each evening, the meticulous turn-down service welcomed us back to a serene atmosphere, setting the stage for relaxation and rejuvenation as we tucked ourselves into a very comfortable medium hard bed with plush linens. The complimentary minibar, stocked with our favorite refreshments including some typical Thai snacks and drinks added an extra layer of comfort and convenience to our experience. Our culinary journey at Soul Food, the resort's main restaurant, was nothing short of exceptional. We savored the Moo Hong (pork) dish and wok-style Phad Sew noodle dish, both masterfully prepared and served in a modern, chic setting that seamlessly blended with the resort's lush surroundings. The breakfast experience was a delightful highlight, offering a diverse array of Asian and Western options to tantalize our taste buds each morning. The banana pancake live station stole the show, serving up fluffy, delicious pancakes that became an instant favorite. This variety ensured that every breakfast was a culinary adventure, setting a positive tone for each day of our stay. Speaking of surroundings, the lush greenery enveloping the resort added a sense of tranquility and connection to nature, enhancing our overall experience. Everywhere we explored, vibrant foliage and carefully landscaped gardens provided a serene backdrop, creating an immersive and rejuvenating environment. We were also lucky to have the chance to try their Spa. The experience was a rejuvenating highlight of our stay, with a 60-minute massage enhanced by a unique scented ”Asian Blend” oil which had a pleasantly unique aroma to say the least. The skilled therapists and tranquil ambiance of the spa created a serene environment, allowing us to unwind and reconnect amidst the soothing aromas and expert touch. A standout aspect of our stay was the highly attentive and service-oriented staff, led by individuals like Khun Fern and Khun Yok. Their warm hospitality and meticulous attention to detail ensured that every aspect of our experience exceeded expe

We had the most amazing experience here. I came for a work trip and the food was amazing, staff was so kind and helpful and our rooms were lovely. It is so close to the beach and offers a relaxing yet fun and beautiful a**osphere. Definitely get the breakfast package because it was so amazing! Will stay again

Questo è il miglior hotel di spiaggia frontale per la famiglia e il raffreddamento anche l'hotel era così occupato ma ancora molto bello rimanere qui. Spiaggia di bar molto bello. Solo un personale al bar, ma lei è molto bello. I server FB sono così bello e bello da aiutare e suggerire. Specialmente K.Pon (scusate di dimenticare il suo nome) il Front Desk era attraente per aiutarci specificamente K.It (bell boy) è molto attivo. K.Puy (GSA) è buono per aiutarci anche. La colazione era buona, il cibo è buono. ma vorrei consigliare alla stazione delle uova. FB dovrebbe avere un ordine di uova perché dobbiamo stare lì e aspettare. La stanza non ha un buon odore, ma va bene. L'acqua ha un odore di inizio ma dopo un po' meglio. HK era bello. In generale è molto bello. Torneremo qui di nuovo.

Returning yet again, have been staying here for over 10 years, missed 2021 due to COVID19 regulations. Very spacious hotel in a beautiful setting, perhaps slightly worn around the edges but the pool and gardens are immaculately kept. Spacious room overlooking the pool and beach. The entrance lobby is stunning with seating areas to relax. The village nearby is struggling since covid and we try and patronise it as much as we can. The local family run restaurants serve traditional Thai cuisine at extremely reasonable prices. The hotel is also conveniently located for Hua Hin and Cha Am easily accessible by taxi. We will definitely return.

Abbiamo avuto un soggiorno super decente all'hotel. Pensavo che sarebbe stato meglio avere più ristoranti e spa, la qualità dei cibi era secondaria a nessuno. Abbiamo avuto buffet per colazione e cena al ristorante, il colazione aveva molte scelte e la qualità era grande. Per il pranzo, i piatti italiani erano eccellenti e fuori dalle nostre aspettative. Molto consiglia di provarlo. Mi piacerebbe e devo tornare per un soggiorno più lungo. La loro camera davanti alla spiaggia era troppo buona per essere vera.

Sono già andato per il 2 ° round. Nel primo turno andare sabato è stato molto bello. Il ristorante è aperto fino alle 11. C'è uno schiuma party e attività adatte ai bambini. Ma questa seconda volta era un giorno festivo che cadeva lunedì. Il ristorante chiudeva 1 ora prima del sabato, quindi non abbiamo potuto fare colazione anche se avevamo già pagato. È triste, ma il personale di servizio era buono. C'è anche un cinema da guardare. Un'ampia piscina può vedere il mare. Mi piace questo posto. Il balcone protetto sembra un po' vecchio. Se migliorato sarebbe molto buono. L'alloggio è vicino al mare, ma non si può fare il bagno, ci sono molte meduse. e le onde sono molto forti Ma in hotel c'è la sabbia che i bambini possono raccogliere e con cui giocare. Tutto sommato, ok.

Newly opened and cute design. The room is spacious with good quality mattress, great water pressure and beautiful decors. Everything in the room works well except for the bathroom design which needs immediate improvement. You cannot take a shower without making the whole floor wet (my room is superior type). I put a towel to block the water but this cannot be a permanent solution. Secondly, the bathroom wall is made of glass which looks modern but you cannot use the toilet without waking the other person in the middle of the night. Many people complains about the size of the swimming pool and common facilities but I know from the start it's a very small hotel so...The bar and bar rooftop area is a great place to hang with view of the sea. Breakfast is good compared to the price you pay. However, the reason I give it 3 stars only is the service, or lack of, at the restaurant during dinner time which is the worst I've ever experienced. There's like one lady minding the whole place and of course she never had time to come by to take our orders, check what we need or collect our plates or even get us the bill. My husband had to get up from the table 4-5 times during one dinner to go ask her for any kind of service. No need to say how slow the food was served. The wait and all wouldn't be so bad if there were some sorts of communications or apologies but I feel they just simply didn't care. That being said all the staff are very friendly. The 24 hours stay is a good concept but we were not informed during check in we needed to make a request in advance for check out time later than noon. Locationwise, there's nothing much in walking distance only 1-2 local food joints and one temple. Convinient stores are about 900 meters away on the main road. There's no beach.
