Alia Palace Hotel - Adults Only 16+

Stay was okay but won’t be returning. Me and my friend booked a room with a private pool thinking we could catch a nice tan without leaving our room however the decking prevents the sun from ever hitting the private pool and everyday it was shaded. Unfortunately we went when the weather was pretty bad so it was very cold. I wouldn’t recommend the private pool. The breakfast was quite good but dinner was awful. The pasta and rice was always cold and everything lacked flavour. Also they forget to tell you they don’t provide drinks with it so you have to buy your own drinks each time you go for dinner. Not going to lie the views are amazing and it’s very pretty but what ruins it is there is a pack of dogs waiting outside the rooms and bark and chase you- we complained about this but the dogs are still there, one of them came to the private pool in our room which was quite uncomfortable Staff are mostly okay- the reception staff lack abit of empathy. On our last day we asked if we could check out a couple hours later after 11am as our shuttle didn’t come till 6pm to drop us to the airport and it was raining and cold outside so it wasen’t like we could wait and do anything outside to pass the time but they asked for 55 euros extra. I understand if it was any other day but it means that we have to wait in the reception area for 7 and a half hours. I’ve been to plenty of other hotels who would have been more understanding.

We’ve just spent a week at this hotel and we loved it. We had a 2 bed villa and the space was amazing. The bed linen, towels and dressing gowns were all excellent quality and the sun loungers were amazing, so comfy. The food was good, plenty of choice of meats,veggie options, with lovely fresh salads and fruit every day. All the staff from the cleaners, the bell boys, reception, bar staff, restaurant staff, absolutely everyone were so friendly and helpful. The pool areas are beautiful and very well kept and the views stunning every way you look. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back.

⸻ Great Stay at Alia Hotel Alia Hotel is a beautiful place with amazing views over the town and out to the sea. The staff were friendly, helpful, and very professional. We really enjoyed the food – lots of tasty options to choose from every day. The only minor issue was the bed being a bit too firm for us, but overall, it was a great stay and we’d definitely recommend it.

Alia Palace is the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed at. I cannot recommend it enough. We booked a junior suite with our own pool, and went all inclusive. We cannot begin to tell you how worth it this was! It was absolutely magical having our own pool with our room overlooking the most stunning scenery and the sea. Nothing will compare. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh and vibrant. The options were different daily and even myself as a vegetarian, I found plenty of choices to choose from. My fiancé is a meat eater and constantly said how juicy and delicious the meat was. The staff, well, the staff! They are just wonderful. So kind, so friendly, and their English was excellent. I even found myself learning a bit of Greek from them! They truely go above and beyond and that is why our stay was so extra great. I was absolutely delighted when the hotel staff picked up about it being my birthday during our stay, and secretly left a bottle of wine and card in our suite on the day of my birthday to have when we got back, it was so kind and a really generous touch that I will never forget. We will definately be back. We are so sad to leave! Thank you again Alia Palace.

Stayed here for a week mid October and we really enjoyed our stay. The pool area is beautiful and has the most gorgeous sea views. The hotel was very nicely decorated and very relaxing atmosphere. Our room was nicely designed, very clean and had everything we needed in there, iron, kettle etc. We also tried the a la carte menu (which is separate to the buffet area) and the food was to die for! Definitely some of the best food we had that week, so impressed! If you want a good meal and don’t feel like travelling out of the hotel then ask for the a la carte menu. The staff were all helpful and friendly as were the cleaners. The hotel is at the top of a very long hill, however the hotel has a shuttle bus every hour to take you down to the main road or the beach & it can pick you up at certain times. But most nights we ended up getting a taxi which cost €5 from the main road up to alia palace. Only thing I will say is if you have breathing difficulties then to try request a room in the first block on the ground floor. I have a lung condition and we were in the 3rd block and 4 flights of stairs up to our room as there’s no lift. I was offered a different room but stuck with the one I had as preferred the room itself. There is a golf cart at reception and you can get a lift up to your block if he’s there. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend coming here!
