I didn’t expect such unpleasant experience given that it’s a luxury hotel.
Firstly, during my stay when I was in the room alone, I encountered the staff claimed to be operation manager to open my door room without any prior notice. It was later, explained that it’s because the room is under DND and almost been 24 hours no cleaning by housekeeping hence they just want to make sure we are doing fine in the room. Understand that the room bell was off and put under DND but if you were to check perhaps can ring the phone too beforehand ?
Secondly, due to plans of change I requested early check out through trip.com. Long story short, the hotel due to the T&C and prepaid room. They unable to allow early check out. But in the midst of the request , they pushed the responsible to trip.com and it was later found out it was the hotel themselves whom not allow early check out. The staff was impolite too as they spoke bahasa and thought that we did not understand.
Lastly, the operation manager called and indirectly try to put the blame on trip.com. After confronting, then only they mentioned is due to their management decision.
Frankly, it’s a horrendous stay to me
