Hotel building and lobby looked nice enough. Checking in was a breeze. Room hallway looks old and gloomy, reminded me of my dormitory days but with better colours. Bedroom didn't have much space, but was still tolerable. The wallpapers had yellowing/dried leak marks. Washroom was tiny and all the drains (sink & shower) are very slow at draining. And no lock for the washroom. The worst was the lighting, i turned off the lights while sleeping, woken up to a room fully lit with tv on maybe a couple hours later. I thought i might have accidentally pressed a button while sleeping. Turned everything off and went to sleep again, then same thing happened again. In total this happened 3 or 4 times, too tired and sleepy to care. I didn't bother complaining because it happened between the middle of the night to dawn. Even if I did complain the possible solutions would be to send a technician or switch me to a better room, and neither is desirable. I was on a one night business trip with full schedule both days. Breakfast was nice, plenty of options, but the service wasn't so good. When i was showed to my table, the host asked if i wanted coffee or tea, I picked coffee. Went around to take my breakfast, came back to table and coffee wasn't there. Then not long after i started eating, a waiter came by and asked if i wanted coffee or tea, said coffee. 5 minutes later another waiter came by if I wanted coffee or tea..again. Finally got my coffee a good 15mins later, I should've just gotten a cup myself. Asked for sunny side ups, eggs came after i finished my plate, about the same waiting time with coffee and the egg station was empty when I ordered. I'm sorry but I don't think this was a 5-star hotel, and the price wasn't worth it. I believe the problem with light was caused by the room card slot right to turn on the power. Must've gone wrong and failed to detect a card in the slot and shut everything off, then suddenly detected the card again, hence all power and light kept turning back on. Won't be staying there again Hallway picture doesn't look that bad in picture, because my phone decided to make it look nicer by auto-adjusting the light level, much darker in reality

I booked the corner room for my stay, it has a killer view and the room design helped me to fully enjoy the view from different angles and I could watch the sunset. For the current price, the facilities have room for improvements, for instance the TV is still quite old and has limited channels, it would be perfect to give smart TV or maybe add more channels. It would also be great to install a rain shower for every room in addition to the existing shower now.

Le camere erano molto confortevoli, mi piacevano davvero con le strutture dell'hotel. Sono venuto con la mia famiglia, mio figlio era molto felice e piaceva con l'atmosfera della piscina. Con vista della città, e la prima volta a Jakarta ci fa davvero piacere. Situazione vicino a ogni luogo, grazie speciali a Ibu vinna e la squadra molto amichevole.

Travelling from overseas is exhausted, sleepy, tired n everything. First of all, big thanks to Mrs Nadya at the reception, she is greetings me with a smile from the moment I'm arrived until the day I am check out, it was top service. I did not mention about want a high level, she knows it already. Coz, normally when I am booked a hotel, definitely I will request the highest floor. I'm booked here at last minute, turn out it was a great experiences. All the staff here is friendly and easy going, food for breakfast also good. Only one thing, ”seated for breakfast”. When I had breakfast, while I am going to take another food, other guest seat there. So I need to move to another table. My phone and room access card still on the breakfast table, how is another guest not seeing it!!? Or they just do not have human sense!? Hello!!!!I am still not finish eat my food! My suggestions, maybe hotel management can provide a small things at the every each table at the Cafe Sirih, which state that ”Occupied/Unoccupied”. So that kind of things will never happened to another hotel guests. Overall, it was a great experiences being here. Definitely will repeat again. Brand new hotel, room very big and well appointed altough no bathrobe avalaible. Breakfast buffett very bad selection and low quality. Service very bad, arriving at 0100 am after exausted 18 hours flights and got rooms at 0230 am, because cant figure out our reservation made weeks in advance, unacceptable.

Movenpick Hotel Jakarta City Center is a new Hotel (Open in June 2024). The hotel is located at Pecenongan, which has a number of legendary eatery such as Bubur Kwan Tung, Lumpia Jakarta and Martabak Pecenongan. The hotel is nice and modern with a touch of luxury. The room at Movenpick Hotel Jakarta City Center is modern and has a warm tone. The hotel is environmentaly friendly. The Hotel Room Key is made out of wood material (instead of plastic). Good location closed to city centre. Clean hotel. Excellent staffs, very friendly and helpful. Treated us with respect. Great breakfast with all you can eat. Highly recommend. Will surely stay there again on our next visit

The hotel was very nice, the breakfast was amazing. The room was big, very comfortable. The only thing is that every time that I called a grab, I have to pay to the driver, because he had to pay to enter the hotel pick up location.
