Room was nasty asf and too many issues going on, won’t recommend to stay here…… noisy ac, toilet that won’t stop running. Room wasn’t cleaned properly when we checked in bed had looked like some already slept in. I most certainly won’t stay here again

Poorly designed shower results in water on the floor every single time you shower. Hotel charged my credit card before I checked out then could not explain to me what was going on. Thought I had lost my parking ticket on my last day and told the person at the front desk I would just go out and get another one. She said, no. You have to tell them you lost your ticket and pay $9 - when the hotel is already charging me $15 a day. Only one elevator was working. The pool was closed. I could go on. On the plus side. The breakfast was good and well taken care of.

Breakfast on the weekend was hit or miss. More staff was around on the week days, so items were continuously refreshed as needed. The pool was closed, an elevator was down and quite a few rooms had A/C issues. There are several good restaurants and a Publix within walking distance, which was nice.

We stopped at this hotel while travelling and were very happy with our choice. When we first checked in, we found that there was a problem with the air conditioner in our room, and we were quickly moved to another room. Breakfast in the morning was better than most. There were sausage and egg sandwiches, home fries with onions and peppers (very good), grilled smoked sausage (which you don't usually see), oatmeal with many options to add in, plus waffles you could make, yogurt, bagels, and more. People at desk were very friendly and helpful, and also rooms were clean. Only complaint would be that the mattress was too soft.

Ketira was very nice professional and helpful. Mr. Ross Stark took my family to and from UAB appointments. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean. We enjoyed our stay. The distance from the hospital to the hotel was also in walking distance. All the staff was kind and welcoming.

Pros Comfortable bed Big modern room Cons Plastic forks, plates and bowls at breakfast. Never seen that before in a hotel and was very difficult to butter bread etc. Poor pool area - tiny and sandwiched between a road footpath and the gym. Functional but do not expect any spa style comfort. Some of the staff were not friendly or welcoming. Overall for the expensive price disappointing.

Most of the people were very nice, but the property needs serious updating to continue to charge the rates it does. The hair dryer only worked on low, the AC sounded like there was a box of loose nails in the motor, the breakfast was pretty sub par, the elevators may or may not stop on the level with the floor you stop at (+/- 12" or so.) In all this hotel is in a great location with fairly nice staff but the owners need to invest in this property to get me to stay again or ever recommend it.

Disappointed with this location. The room was clean however it needs touched up. Went to counter for linens for the pullout couch. We were given sheets, no blanket, and no pillow. They were out for the whole hotel! Front desk was a matter-of-fact with no apologies. Perhaps those could be stored in the bedrooms so that every room with a couch has that available. Air conditioning unit is a low window version and the thermostat on the wall does not work. The breakfast was lacking bread, eggs, hot coffee, etc. There were two different sports teams at the hotel and one would think the food service would be alerted and properly prepare for that. Trash was piled up on the trash can, tables and counters. Food was every where with 45 mins to go before breakfast ended. Front desk was friendly at check-in. Definitely not typical Bonvoy standards.

Overall: Super friendly staff and super clean room! However, severely deficient maintenance and lack of management oversight means we won't stay here again: Room had broken closet door, off the rails, so only full length mirror in room was unusable Elevator light fixture on our floor had 7 out of 8 light bulbs out, creating a dark and unsafe feeling. Gym 830am: No remote for gym TV, no signal to individual machine screens 1 elliptical machine had broken video screen 1 elliptical machine would not respond to control settings 1 bicycle machine broken, screen unresponsive and seat adjustment lever broken No towels in cabinet No water in water dispenser Disinfectant wipes dispenser for machines empty No hand sanitizer Breakfast buffet (30 mins. before 0930AM closing time on Sunday): Out of coffee for the entire 30 minutes we waited Cold scrambled eggs swimming in some sort of oil Cold hockey puck hard and dry sausages
