My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary at On The Beach. We were overwhelmed with the great room, views and especially the staff. Pilar, Mike and all the rest were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was even nicer than the pictures and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfasts were great as were the cookies waiting for us each day. Wine hour was also a treat with delicious wine and the company of the other guests. A huge "Thank You!" to all the staff that made our stay wonderful.

My wife and I spend a wonderful week here while visiting my sister. From the beginning when Sandy went out of her way to make the handicap room available until we checked out at the crack of dawn with muffins to eat on the airplane, the staff was terrific. The hot breakfasts, beer/wine happy hour and hot cookies in the afternoon are typical of the extras offered. Their attention to details was evident everywhere -- fresh flowers, 24/7 hot beverage bar, rooftop deck with comfy chairs and fit pit, bathrobes in the room, etc. And it's located right in the middle of all the "action" in Cayucos, with many food options and great people and surfer watching. It's a gem!

Great small boutique type hotel, directly across from the ocean & pier. Sweet staff & easy check in. Our room was spacious and super sparkly clean. The daily 'happy hour' wine & beer were enjoyed on the upstairs deck. We loved the fresh cookies hung on our door every afternoon. And the breakfast was delivered to our room was great - yummy quiches varied daily, nice fruit parfait. All in all a lovely stay!

Just love this property. The smell of wonderful things cooking when you walk in morning or afternoon makes this place feel like home.

do yourself a favor and stay here...this quaint b&b is right in the center of town...right on the beach...and right friendly...the breakfast is delivered to your room and is wonderful...fresh cookies in the afternoon and wine at 4pm...beds, linens and towels are great...we stayed upstairs with an ocean view and veranda...a wonderful get away...highly recommend
