I wanted to stay outside of Phoenix on our visit, and since most of our activities were on the east side of town, I chose Cave Creek to stay. We liked being outside of the city. The room we had was very large. There was a kitchen, 2 comfy chairs in front of the tv, a king bed, and table and chairs for dining. We never cooked or ate in the room, but we could have. There is no breakfast service at the hotel, so we walked to the Grotto Cafe for coffee and pastries each morning. It offered full breakfasts if you wanted. There is an ice cream parlor in Prickly Pear Plaza, and we indulged twice during our visit. Our room had a huge balcony with two chairs, and we sat outside often to take in the view of the mountains. Cave Creek is a "cowboy town." So the shops in the area sell rusted figures for your home. There is an elevator on site. We were on the 2nd floor and did not use the stairs. The parking lot is large, and we never had a problem finding a spot. I would not hesitate to stay here again when visiting.

Perfect location and very charming.
Im very glad that I decided to make that my overnight stop.
Traveling solo I felt very safe and everything was walkable distance.
Delicious ice cream shop downstairs.
Room was very clean. VERY CLEAN.
Nice towels and sheets.
Definitely unexpected luxury.

A delightful South Western experience. Commodious and comfortable rooms, with a patio facing West ( Bearded Room) as we enjoyed a Sonoran Sunset.....sipping wine. Wish we could have stayed there longer! Close to all the restaurants and amenities within Cave Creek. Je Reviens!!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay. Shout out to Roger for the efficient check in, great restaurant recommendations and general conversation. We stayed in the Bearded Room which has a very comfortable bed and pillows and the kitchenette was well stocked with most everything you need.

We stayed for a week over Christmas and loved every minute of our stay! We had the Bunny Ears room, it was spotless and cozy and had a fabulous sun deck. The kitchenette was great, and there are fun stores and a pub below - but our room had zero noise issues. There’s a Mexican restaurant next door which has terrific food and lovely courtyard and pond, and across the road are more shops and such. It’s well situated, within 10 minutes of pretty much anything we wanted to do in the area. Guest services was attentive and responsive and we will absolutely be back! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We loved this hotel so much. Loved the convenience of being able to walk everywhere. Loved the decor, the restaurant and shops right there and of course the ice cream shop!! Can't wait to come again. Loved the town, the hotel and the owners were super nice!!

We love the Prickly Pear Inn!
We love the Prickly Pear Inn. We stayed one night for my birthday party at Stumblina's Cantina. My guests, three couples, stayed at the Inn as well. We all commented we would stay at the Inn again when we were in town overnight. Our room was spotless, bed was great. Fun place to stay in Cave Creek.
