We stopped over one night on our way south. Lovely old chateau with lots of character in scenic surroundings. Our economy room was clean and fresh with attractive old furniture. Bathroom rather small but not a problem for us. The evening meal was delicious and staff extremely welcoming and helpful. And of course very good wine and armagnac!

We had lunch here today and it was superb. I highly recommend it. We were given a very warm welcome, the service was friendly but not pushy and the 3-course set meal was excellent and good value for money.

My wife and i dined here whilst on holiday on a Friday evening. We were amazed there was one other person eating in such a large building. The 5 course menu was ok, but nothing special, but the waiter and service was excellent. We chateau decor looked shabby. There must be something drastically wrong with the reputation/ marketing that only 3 people eat at such a magnificent building on a Friday evening.

I stayed four nights here, having three days to explore some local Armagnac producers. I felt warmly welcome, was extremely well looked after and the help with organising visits made every day superb.

Last summer my partner and I celebrated our fairytale wedding at this lovely Chateau. We were helped enormously in the preparation by Arnold and Sophie. Nearly everything was possible in consultation, they listened carefully and thought with us to make the day as special and beautiful as we had in mind. The chateau and surroundings are well taken care of and beautiful, the food and drinks throughout the day were beautifully prepared and tasted delicious and the visit to the Armagnac museum was a lovely addition to the day. We, and our guests, greatly enjoyed the hospitality and service of Arnold and Sophie and the rest of the staff, in preparation and moreover on the day itself. We had a wonderful day/weekend on which we are still reminiscing. We are very grateful for this! Kind regards from the Netherlands

Attiré par le site, je pensait pouvoir loger dans une chambre un minimum confortable, en fait on nous a attribué une chambre de bonne, exiguë, sans chaise ni fauteuil (pas la place) sans miroir, avec une literie usée. Il est inadmissible que les propriétaires fassent de l'argent de cette manière. Je veux bien admettre que les autres chambres soient réservées mais celle la ne doit pas être vendue. Elle était payée sur booking et le choix ne nous a pas été proposé bien sûr. Etre prix pour un pigeon à plumer est particulièrement désagréable et j'espère que cet avis incitera les futurs éventuels clients à la réflexion.

Un dîner raté sur tous les points de vue salle à manger trop froide table et .sièges non adaptés , le couvert horrible plats sans saveur légumes croquants mais pas cuits pas de changement de couverts entre poisson et viande tellement de choses négatives on ne recommandera jamais cette table

Très bel endroit, très reposant. Accueil des plus chaleureux. Nous sommes arrivés le 1er janvier pour 4 jours avec notre chien qui a pu gambader à son aise. Chambre très agréable avec vue sur de grand cèdres peuplés d’écureuils. Nous avons dîné deux soirs et ce fut parfait. Merci à nos hôtes à qui nous souhaitons de continuer à faire vivre ce lieu enchanteur.

Nous avons passe un bon weekend au chateau, reposant, avec de tres belles pieces, l equipe est tres gentille et charmante, visite et historique de l armagnac et du chateau, dégustation du floc et de l armagnac, avec possibilité d achat, repas au château le soir avec d excellents plats gastro, un petit dej tres bon, le seul petit point négatif sont pour notre part sont les chambres qui sont pas tres grandes avec une salle de bain petite ainsi qu une douche a bac petite, mais le matelas confortable et lieu calme nous avons bien dormi, adresse a recommander pour une belle expérience 😊
