Premier Inn Cardiff City Centre (Queen Street)

Lovely hotel right in the thick of it. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Will definitely use this hotel again when visiting Cardiff.

We arrived at Cardiff Central by train, which is 15mins walking to this Premier Inn. It was very welcoming and staff friendly, rooms clean, with as much tea and coffee, which you took from the travellers store at the main entrance. My only gripe is as I have dietary requirements, They couldn't cater for them and had to make do with what was on offer. No gluten free food at night, Only what I would call general burgers, lasagne, steak battered fish and chips. Only veg on offer was peas. In this day and age Hotels need to cater for a variety of people's health conditions. Vegan/vegetarians are not Gluten free or Ibs sufferers or Celiacs. Which are complicated problems. It would be helpful if they offered something which could be adapted. .

Three nights stay at this hotel over Easter - modern version of the chain. Very central location and about 8 minutes walk to a car park (chargeable) The room was clean and all fine - we stayed in a premier plus room We had breakfast one morning which was fine - standard premier inn selection that never changes but good value There were two issues which meant I dropped one point: 1) constant problems with the wi-fi code - three times we had to go down to get help about it 2) there is no dedicated reception - you have to self book- in using a monitor. This is a large hotel so I feel a reception is needed. If you need help you need to ask the bar or restaurant staff who are pleasant but clearly busy doing other things so there is a wait!

A friendly hotel located in an ideal location for the shops and arena , easy to check in and out , lovely friendly staff shout out to Matt he was super attentive and helpful would definitely stay again. Had the meal deal which was £26.99 , was worth the money evening meal with starter or dessert, drink then breakfast in the morning kept us fed and full of energy for our travels 🙃
