Missed the simple things like a bath mat, a non slip mat to use while showering and drinking glasses available in the room.
Bed was okay, a little creaky and “well used”

A very reasonably priced hotel in a central part of the city, Travelodge fulfilled my purpose providing somewhere to stay while visiting relatives who could not accommodate me

Nice stay at this hotel, but I couldn’t get breakfast in the morning, I did ask in the morning, but it would have been nice if there was an option to ask in the morning rather than give 24 hours notice

The room wasn't very well maintained - the window was loose, meaning half was cold and you could hear the nightclub noise. Luckily I can sleep through a hurricane. There was the previous guest's hair in my shower and the gel dispenser was broken (I had to go out and buy my own, but it was fixed by the next morning). The bedside USB charger would only work with the light turned on, meaning my phone couldn't charge whilst I slept with the light off. The bin in the bathroom was rusted through and very rough - looked like it had been kicked in by a previous guest! The lifts were a bit battered too.

I arrived at the hotel early, so I decided to ask for an early check-in. The receptionist was very polite and accomodating. The whole process was very transparent and done in a timely manor. It was all very affordable despite extra expenses such as WiFi or early check-in fees. As for the room and bathroom. It was very clean. It comes with a TV, heater, chairs and a kettle. The windows can be opened relatively wide. It adheres to window safety laws. So you can safely air out the room. The location is ideal as it's in the middle of town. Plus, there's a McDonald's nearby if you need a quick bite. Most importantly, it's surprisingly quiet for being near a main road. So you won't need to worry about being kept up at night.

Rooms were very clean, staff was very friendly, breakfast was fantastic, room was clean, ed was a lovely gentleman at reception, very helpful with all our problems, would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Swansea, will return in the near future

Having been here a few years ago, this week had to book last minute and because I knew it is really lovely here from last time, yet again, I'm not disappointed. It's a really lovely place with friendly and caring staff, good food and atmosphere
