Nouvel Hôtel du Commerce

We stayed her fifteen years ago and have wonderful memories of our stay at this family owned hotel. It surpassed our expectations! The same family still own it and the service is exceptional. It has been completely refurbished with a swimming pool added. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.

The family couldn’t be more accommodating and helped facilitate our trip to the stunning walks in the area. We hope to come back when it is warm enough to use the lovely swimming pool. And lots of homemade, local produce for breakfast. Thank you for your hospitality!

We are experienced travellers. We have stayed at this hotel in the past, which is why we went back... on the last legs of a three week European driving trip. Location on main square is great, private parking is great, lovely restaurant with great staff who served and smiled !!....Room was fine. In the morning after taking a shower I noticed that the 3-4 towels in the bathroom were thin, not 'white' and totally worn out (suitable for the cat basket perhaps)...and fraying along the long edges...and then the bathroom sink would flush away. I crawled under the sink and managed to get the levers to work to open the plug, but not fully...it was faulty. We came down for breakfast and I showed the 'Manager' on the checkout desk the worn tired faded fraying towel...she just picked it up and tried to hide it saying 'YES (she shouted)...its the end of the season and all the good towels have been stolen...(This is the best bit)...and if we put our new towels out they will get stolen again...and anyway, I upgraded you to a better room (we weren't told this at check in and we are still confused as to how an upgrade can compensate for the towel situation)...I queried this...and the Manager shouted again that 'I upgraded you so that I don't have my staff running from the front to the back of the hotel'...So, it wasn't an upgrade to help the customer, it was to help her manage her staff...(It gets better)...I then mentioned the problem with the sink plug hole....At this the Manager lost it completely...She SCREAMED...'WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY SINK...MY ROOM...WHAT HAVE YOU DONE...?' as she bounded up the stairs 2 at a time...everyone in the breakfast area stopped eating and looked at us if we were guilty of mass destruction...one man came over and asked 'What have you done ??'...Manager, slightly calmer came back down and tried to take us into the breakfast room (as if nothing had happened)...we politely declined and took our breakfast across the road...at half the price. Will we go back, possibly, as long as Mrs Shouty has gone.

T****e keer dat wij hier verbleven. De luxekamers zijn mooi en gezellig ingericht. Mooi zwembad en gezellige ontvangst. Zij bieden geen avondeten aan maar binnen de 2 minuten wandelafstand heb je diverse restaurants. Heel breed bed met goede matrassen. Badkamer ruim met goede douche en lavabolavabo plus WC. Goede wifi ontvangst in de kamer. Ontbijt vrij uitgebreid en er werd regelmatig aangevuld. De luxekamers zijn iets duurder maar zeker zijn prijs waard.

Je reviens dans ce magnifique établissement cette année, je constate avec bonheur que rien n’a changé. La sympathie et la serviabilité des membres de la direction, tous de la même famille, n’ont d’égal que le raffinement de la décoration et la qualité des prestations (piscine extrêmement agréable, chambres bien équipées et très joliment arrangées. Parking dédié et fermé la nuit. Je vous recommande chaudement cet hôtel !! Ne changez rien pour l’an prochain !

Tolles Hotel mit gemütlicher Ambiente, schönen Zimmern ohne Teppich, alles ehr modern, gepflegt und sauber. Hervorragendes Frühstück mit sehr freundlichem Personal, das Englisch spricht. Pool gibt es auch, Poolbar und Gratis Parkplatz.

En plein centre ville, un excellent hôtel qui a une chambre confortable et spacieuse qui donne sur la montagne avec une belle décoration. Le personnel est conviviale. Je recommande fortement cet hôtel. J'ai une chose à dire dommage qu'il n'y a pas de restaurant.
