The staff were so friendly, professional & so helpful, with a particular shout out to Julie who greeted us upon our arrival and anytime throughout our stay when we came across her, she continued to have a smile & engaged with us in conversation to assist us with any requests or questions. 🌟 A Truly Wonderful Afternoon Tea at Cashel Palace Hotel 🌟 The recent Afternoon Tea charity event at the Cashel Palace Hotel was an absolute delight from start to finish. Set in the elegant surroundings of one of Tipperary’s finest venues, the afternoon blended sophistication, community spirit, and pure enjoyment in the most effortless way. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the beautiful live jazz performed by the Indigo Mood jazz band. Their smooth, soulful sound added a touch of magic to the entire experience—gentle melodies floating through the room, uplifting rhythms encouraging smiles and conversation, and a relaxed, classy atmosphere that made everyone feel special. Their musicianship was exceptional, perfectly complementing the refined charm of the Cashel Palace. The Afternoon Tea itself was a treat: delicate sandwiches, exquisite pastries, warm scones, and impeccable service that made every guest feel warmly welcomed. The setting—historic, luxurious, yet wonderfully inviting—provided the perfect backdrop for a community event with heart. Most importantly, the sense of purpose and generosity behind the event shone through. It brought people together in support of a good cause, reminding everyone of the strength and kindness within our local community. Overall, this Afternoon Tea charity event was a resounding success—elegant, uplifting, superbly organized, and enriched by the outstanding performance of Indigo Mood. A memorable day in Cashel, and one that left everyone looking forward to the next gathering.

Another amazing experience at the Cashel Palace!! We stayed here earlier in the year while expecting and were treated like royalty and we returned with our baby as her first little getaway. We absolutely love this hotel! The staff, the rooms, the food, the spa, its all top class. The service in particular make the Cashel Palace very special. They make the stay very personal, they are very friendly and so attentive. Julie in particular who checked us in was so welcoming and kind and again had a lovely chat with her before our departure! From the moment we arrived, the Concierge parked our car and we were warmly greeted by the Manager and reception team. Lots of rooms with open fireplaces to relax, the Guinness Bar served the best scones I’ve ever had. If I had another day or two I would have lounged more in the Residents lounge. Spa treatments were fantastic and the pool area and thermal suite perfectly relaxing. A special mention to Vlad in the Guinness bar, so attentive and friendly, inspirational.

I recently stayed at Cashel Palace Hotel at the Carriage House and was truly impressed by the valet, breakfast, and spa staff, who were warm, professional, and genuinely five-star. The spa itself was lovely — though it could use a few more lounge chairs for the number of guests — and breakfast was an absolute highlight. The property is beautiful, and the service in certain areas clearly reflects the ambition of a top-tier hotel. Unfortunately, my room experience fell short of that standard. Upon arrival, I found dust on the beams, rust and mold on the shower door frame, mold on the window frame and stains on the bedding. To their credit, the team addressed it after I reported it, but there was no follow-up or acknowledgment at checkout. For a hotel at this level, I expected a bit more attentiveness — even a small gesture of goodwill (like a complimentary drink while the room was being recleaned) would have made a difference. I completely understand that hiccups can happen, but what defines a true five-star experience is how a hotel responds when they do. Unfortunately, there was no follow-up from management during or after my stay, which was disappointing given the otherwise lovely service elsewhere in the property. Cashel Palace has wonderful staff and a stunning setting, but I hope they’ll focus more on consistency in housekeeping and guest follow-up to fully live up to their five-star reputation.
