I brought 2 groups of 14 people to the Dream Guincho Hotel in Fall of 2024. Photos and any description does not give it justice, because it is so special. The decor, layout and warm amenities make this Hotel stand out above and beyond most. I felt like I walked around for days in awe of the detail and decor--it was so unique. It is a home away from home stay, with pampering. Each guest room and bathroom is supplied with all of the conveniences one would need. The beds/bedding are really comfy. There are USB plugs in the rooms making charging of cell phones and electronics so easy. Each room has a private patio overlooking the pool and a distant view of the Atlantic Ocean. Only a 5-10 min walk to a cute little town (but a bit steep for a short distance) called Alcabideche, which has a couple of small Restaurants, grocery store, ATM, etc. The beach/ocean is about a 45 minute walk but could be an easy taxi ride. A hike to the ocean cliffs was beautiful. Visiting Cascais & Sintra were a highlight for us. A car rental would be most convenient since Uber/taxi's struggled with finding the Hotel. Their driveway is long and unassuming because it is tucked away a bit, but that also makes it nice for the privacy. We loved our stay and hope to come back!
