Cascais: hotel con bar

Posizione centrale, vista bellissima sulla Baía de Cascais, colazione con tutto quello che si vuole e molto buono, tutto il personale molto gentili, se devo fare un piccolo appunto lo faccio sulla pulizia che non era proprio sempre il top.

We had a wonderful holiday in this hotel. We stayed in a lovely seaview retreat room that was huge with a big balcony and massive bed. The breakfast was the best id ever seen - everything you could want nicely presented. Decorated in a classic style that suits the overall style of the villa hotel. We ate at La Terraza out on the terrace - once for lunch and once for dinner. The food was superb for all courses. Service was really good too. We will return to this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone.

This is a great resort that we would stay at again. The rooms are clean and staff is great. My partner and I were on a 2 week vacation in Portugal and we wanted some place that we could have some pool time after doing morning excursions. There is a golf course that looks very nice. We didn’t play on this trip but maybe next time. The pool is nice and very relaxing. We did a trip to Sintra from this location and it’s only 20 minutes away. We went to Cascais which was only a 10 minute Uber ride. The breakfast which is included was very good. We would definitely stay here again.

Siamo stati 2 notti qui, posizione fuori dal centro raggiungibile comunque in pochi minuti in auto, posizione ottima vicino al mare e a punti strategici da visitare. Parcheggio all’aperto e in strada, quello privato al chiuso a pagamento se qualcuno lo richiedesse. Personale della reception cordialissimo e professionale, la camera spaziosa e pulita a parte un po’ di polvere sulla parete dietro il letto ma può capitare, il bagno e la stanza in generale comunque erano pulite e curate nei dettagli. Balcone vista mare eccezionale. La colazione molto varia e buona col personale addetto molto attento e disponibile e il ristorante non molto caro con cucina buona, il ragazzo del ristorante è stato gentilissimo con noi . É stata un’ esperienza molto positiva!

Tutto su questo hotel era eccezionale. La stanza era meravigliosa, camera Deluxe con vista sul mare. Pulizia e molti trattamenti, torte e cioccolato extra al giorno e mini bar con bevande non alcoliche. Il pranzo di sera del ristorante era il cibo gourmet al suo meglio e il personale era molto a conoscenza dei vini. Il buffet è stato fantastico, molta scelta. L'hotel stesso era bellissimo, la posizione era grande, il parcheggio era facile. Le strutture spa erano davvero meravigliose. A questo hotel vorrei raccomandare, che hanno il giusto equilibrio di fornire lusso, mentre sono amici della famiglia.

È un hotel cinque stelle, all’interno del forte di Cascais, praticamente sul porto. La ristrutturazione è molto bella e la piazza all’interno del forte, che è anche l’accesso all’hotel, è veramente molto caratteristica. Chiaramente hanno dovuto rispettare gli spazi all’interno del forte, e per questa ragione le camere sono su tre piani e la maggior parte di esse è piuttosto chiusa all’interno. Le camere aperte sul lato porto sono un numero limitato ed estremamente costose. Per il resto si tratta effettivamente di un cinque stelle, la camera ampia, il bagno molto grande, dotazioni e comfort di prima qualità. Unica pecca, per un hotel internazionale ristrutturato da poco, la mancanza del bidet in bagno. Colazione in una sala lato porto molto bella e luminosa, una buona offerta con diversi prodotti di qualità. Per un cinque stelle manca il corner delle uova con il cuoco a disposizione. Sono presenti due piscine piccole ma in posizione piacevole, una sul porto l’altra sulle mura verso la città. Entrambe godibili per un paio di orette di relax. Il parcheggio è esterno di fianco alle mura con una convenzione ad un costo giornaliero ragionevole. Se cercate un hotel particolare, di charme, sicuramente il soggiorno qui è consigliato. Volendo stare ad esempio una settimana e godere del mare, di vista e luminosità dalla camera, forse non è l’hotel più adatto.

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved every second of it. This hotel was like something out of a Bond film. Every room in the hotel is unique with its own character. We had a room with a sea view (which I highly recommend reserving). The rooms were all charming, large with comfortable beds and amazing views off the (mostly) private patios. The pool was super clean and a nice area to spend time with a drink from the bar. Breakfast every morning was bountiful with fresh pastries, fruits, eggs, juices and coffee. The views from around the restaurant and pool area are the best in Cascais. Walk out the door and you are steps away from the town and some great shops, restaurants and bars. The train stop is also steps away if you want an easy way into Lisbon. We cannot wait to return!

We loved everything about this hotel. It is situated in a very smart, quiet residential area but only a 15 minute walk to the town. We had a lovely spacious room with a kitchenette area and a balcony. The bed was comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. The communal sitting room was gorgeous with very comfortable sofas and all very tastefully decorated. The gardens were extensive and very attractively laid out with two very nice swimming pools. The breakfast was delicious with as much variety as you could wish for and was kept freshly topped up. There was cake in the afternoon and tea/coffee from the machine all day - all free . The staff were friendly, charming and helpful. We were told to treat it as our home which we thought was lovely. It was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in - and we have stayed in quite a few!

Abbiamo soggiornato per 7 notti in questo hotel. La camera, al secondo piano, spaziosa e ben arredata, con un terrazzino godeva di una bella vista su oceano e faro. Era presente anche un angolo cottura che però non abbiamo utilizzato. Il bagno, di buone dimensioni, completo e ben fornito.di saponi e spugne Alcune pecche sono state: la cassaforte che seppur presente è necessario pagare un supplemento giornaliero per poterla utilizzare (cosa che non ci è mai capitato e non ti aspetti per un hotel da 4*); gli saciumani che sono stati tolti ma non rimpiazzati dopo il rifacimento; aver dovuto aspettare fino a dopo le 16 per avere la camera rifatta (dalla mattina presto lasciata libera con tanto di cartello) Godibile la piscina anche se po' caotica. La colazione eccellente e ben fornita sia per cibi salati che dolci e varia frutta. L'hotel dista circa 10/15 minuti di passeggiata dal paese. Personale gentile e disponibile.

The thing about ”boutique” hotels is they often have limited rooms with little consistancy between them. Often the hotel is a former mansion or castle that has been converted to create the accomodations. The rooms featured on the website often look amazing but many of the rooms are often former butler's pantries or attic rooms the crazy aunt lived in with alll her cats so you have to be careful when booking. This place has some of that. Had we ended up in a former little closet room in the corner, we would not have been happy here. Fortunately we had booked the designer room with a balcony facing the ocean (210) which was fantastic to enjoy the ocean views. We moved the long bench from in front of the bed onto the balcony during the day to use as a sun lounger. Room was smaller but had tall ceilings and nicely remodeled. Comfy bed and nice bathroom with shower with all kinds of water options plus toilets had heated bidet hose. It is important to know that the pool area is seasonal due to the close proximity to the ocean and doesnt open until mid-April. During much of year it is closed as the North Atlantic waves thrash over the pool area filling it with dirty sea water. The hotel should state this on their homepage to avoid guests feeling a bit misled. I attached some pictures showing the pool area we had without any lounges and water looking like a sewer discharge. The weather we had was sunny and hot yet couldn't use the pool so felt frustrated. I'm a daily lap swimmer so had been hoping to use the pool in the mornings for my swims. The view of the ocean with the crashing waves against the rocks made the stay very relaxing. Also it is a nice short walk to town with wonderful views along the way. Additionally it is a beautiful walk or run to the west along the rock cliffs by the ocean. Truly magical location. The hotel itself was lovely and ecclectic with fun art throughout. Hotel staff was very nice and the included a quality breakfast buffet was tasty and plentiful. We had to leave in the middle of the night for a very early flight out. The manager had take away lunches for us which was a nice touch. We booked the hotel in part because it was part of the AMEX Platinum Hotel collection which comes with some additional benefits if you have the card. We had been to Lisbon many times but so glad we discovered Cascais this time. Certainly will be back.
