Hotel in zona Park Mehdi ben barka, Casablanca

TLDR: Gaslighting on another level.   I was truly upset with my experience at Suite Hotel Casa Diamond. Our initial check was great, we did not have to wait too much and the hotel arranged the transportation from the airport. The location was good, near trains, but also walkable to many things around the area. Cab ride is not too expensive. The first day we were there, we asked for room service, and they missed an order that we placed, but we let it go because there may have been a communication barrier. We had a pretty good room, the view was great, sunrise was fantastic from that room. The furniture was on the older side, but everything was pretty clean and bathroom was fine. Water pressure was fine. The second day, we had breakfast, which was not bad, had the basic needs, but does not live up to the ”5 star” claim that the hotel makes.   The true disappointment and disbelief came during the second night we stayed there. At around 1015PM or so we started hearing some sort of banging coming from up above. It was not too bad and we made nothing of it and we actually just naturally fell asleep. However, we were woken up around 11PM with excessively loud banging, louder than before, and what sounded like furniture being moved. Of note, we were on the top floor, but there is a rooftop cafe above us (which was closed for the day at that point). I called reception and they apologized and said they would send someone to check up on it.   We waited, but the banging did not stop. The reception called us back and told us they cannot do anything about it, and that it's from another building? They said no one was on the rooftop and no one is doing any construction. This gaslighting was astounding, because as you can see in the video, there's literally banging and sounds like a hammer. Suprisingly, the hammer noise did stop for ~20 minutes or so very randomly. However, it restarted at around 1145PM. At this point, we physically went down to the reception to show them the video. The reception said they are not sure what's going on, but they will send another person to the rooftop to recheck everything. They claim they had nothing to do with the noise, but interestingly enough the noise did stop for a bit.   However, probably around 1AM, the banging returned, sounded like a hammer and we could hear furniture literally being dragged across upstairs. At this point we were too tired and honestly too disappointed at the level of gaslighting and did not feel anyone would even care or listen to us or help us so we just let it go. It's very disappointing because they really did not need to lie to us, they could have apologized, stopped the repairs or whatever was going on and moved on. There was no empathy and no mention of this in the morning either. They claim to be a 5 star hotel but their service was disappointing and they had no need to lie. The only thing that was 5 stars was their gaslighting.

L’hotel è carino (nulla di eccezionale) ma ho riscontrato un comportamento non corretto. Arrivato alle 6.00 della mattina del 7, ho preso la stanza dal 7 all’11. L’impiegato della reception, molto gentilmente, poiché la stanza assegnatami era libera (assolutamente improbabile che l’hotel si riempisse tra le 6.00 passate e le 15.00), mi ha offerto gratuitamente la stanza in anticipo, ma poi, al momento del check out, mi hanno addebitato due notti per lo stesso giorno 7 agosto. Il personale, in maniera scortese, mi ha evidenziato che il check-in anticipato si paga come se fosse un giorno intero e che era da escludersi la cortesia (e la gratuità) dell’anticipato possesso di stanza, in quanto era ben possibile che l’albergo si riempisse tra le 6.00 e le 15.00 !!! Ora, premesso che alle 6.00 del mattino non c’era alcuna coda di gente che voleva fare check-in (anzi: non c’era anima viva !!!), le spiegazioni addotte sono erronee, sia perché la fattura fa riferimento al numero di prenotazione del soggiorno 7-11, sia perché in tutto il giorno 7 non è stata fatta la pulizia della camera (cosa che avrebbero dovuto assicurare se il mio check-in retroagiva di un giorno !!!). Nessuno pretende gratuitamente un check-in anticipato, ma se ti viene offerto a titolo di cortesia tale deve essere; oppure ti venisse proposto col relativo prezzo (con la libertà di accettare o declinare). Alla fine mi è stata praticata una riduzione sul doppio check-in (ho pagato un giorno e mezzo), ma la scorrettezza e la scortesia riscontrate mi inducono a non ritornare più in questo hotel ed a raccontare ai viaggiatori la mia esperienza.

Casablanca itself is not very clean due to its dense population. The amenities were OK for the price but we did get into a disagreement with the nice men and the desk with the prices for an early morning taxi to the train station. Beware of insane prices and do some research

When I arrived at the hotel I was met at my taxi from the hotel porter, Abdeljalil. He kindly took my baggage and walked with me to reception where Youssef politely and professionally greeted me at reception quickly checked me in and welcomed me to the hotel. I made my way to the room where I have found a clean, well ventilated and modern room with plenty of space for a family, though also an awesome covetable desk that I love the design of. There is a beautiful view from the window over the entire city and many staff members on hand, happily able to provide any assistance needed. While only I have interacted with these two particular staff members, I have seen other guests interact with staff in the bar, restaurant and guest services, where staff appear to take pride and happiness in serving guests to an exceptionally high standard. I also ran in to some other guests who frequently stay at this hotel due to the great experiences in the past. While it is only a four star hotel, compared to the five stars in the city, the hotel is in a beautiful location and having stayed at other five star properties, this hotel actually provides a better level of service over many of the more expensive hotels nearby. The room is great to sleep in and work from, with staff members able to assist guests in obtaining services outside of the hotel with established and trusted partners such as local spas or driving services. For the price paid, I would happily stay here again and recommend it to any other guests. A beautiful hotel, very well managed and perfect for the majority of guest visits.

This hotel is deceptive. The ground floor and lobby is quite nice but the other floors and the rooms are not. The beds were clean and comfortable, the room was decent, and the shower was nice. I did see what looked like a blood stain on the bathroom wall though. The breakfast was good and had eggs, sausage, beans, sweet and other bread and rolls, coffee, hot chocolate, orange juice, chicken, slices, and cheese available. It's located right on a tram line and taxis are going by so the time, yet it's a relatively quiet street. That's the good news, now for the bad. Most of the electrical outlets in the room did not work. The rooms let in all the noise from the hallway and you can hear phones ringing etc. the elevator buttons on each floor don't always work to summon the elevator. There is no safe in the room, and I felt like we needed one. The wifi stopped working often and was quite slow at times. The tap water is not drinkable. The orange juice at the buffet breakfast tasted a bit like Tang. Although cheap, I don't know that it was worth the price.

De retour dans notre 2ème maison à Casablanca et cette fois à 3 avec notre petite fille de 4 mois... le 1er hotel de sa vie qui est très symbolique pour nous...Tout s'est super bien passé et tout a été mis en place pour que notre séjour se passe à merveille pour notre enfant et nous . Le lit bébé était très propre et le matelas de très bonne qualité. La literie et le mobilier sont toujours d'aussi bonne qualité ainsi que la propreté des chambres après plusieurs années et c'est important de le souligner. Le service de ménage et de maintenance est très réactif ainsi que le réception. Un grand merci à Jihane responsable Hebergement qui a pris le temps de bien préparer notre arrivée afin que notre séjour se passe parfaitement bien et que nous ayons à disposition tout ce que nous voulions. Toujours attentionnée et à l'écoute après toutes ces années font que nous sommes de plus en plus attachés à Cet hôtel . Monsieur Samir Qui est à l'entrée de l'hôtel depuis des années pour la sécurité est égal à lui même.. toujours aussi gentil, agréable, prevenant, serviable et ca fait vraiment plaisir. Nous tenons à remercier le responsable restaurant que nous avons rencontré qui a été très gentil et arrangeant par rapport à nos demandes multiples. Merci à son équipe également et un gros merci à Hatim qui s'est très bien occupé de notre petite fille et m'a bcp aidé ! Cela m'a beaucoup touché ! Tout le personnel du restaurant a été adorable avec nous et surtout avec notre petite fille et cela fait vraiment du bien quand on voit que c'est fait avec le cœur ❤️ . Un gros merci nous reviendrons très bientôt .

I stayed this hotel as paid by a conference organizer. I did not pay myself and so my review might be biased. This hotel is one of the three hotels owned by the company running Companile Hotel which is located around the corner. The room I stayed is small but clean. There is a small desk and well air conditioned. What was missing to me was some coffee / tea with an electric kettle. But they were not needed this time because I was out of the room for almost all days during my 2-day stay. The shower’s water pressure and temperature could have been better but I guess some people don’t mind. The breakfast was decent and I wouldn’t mind staying again if it’s a day or two.

Positivo: mentre aspettavamo che la nostra stanza fosse pronta, ci servivamo con succo fresco complementare e poi con tè marocchino. La posizione è grande perché è vicino a un centro commerciale, quindi avete molte opzioni per mangiare, negozio e anche una opzione per cambiare valuta. Taxi sono stati facilmente disponibili dal fronte dell'hotel. È anche vicino alla stazione ferroviaria, Casa Voyageurs. Dopo averci lamentato del colazione il secondo giorno, il giorno dopo il colazione era buono e tornato alla normale. Possiamo lasciare il bagaglio all'hotel il giorno del check-out. Il personale era amichevole e cooperativo per tutto il nostro soggiorno. Un grido speciale va a Ummaimah, Mariam, Fahad e Reeta, e ci hanno offerto anche tè complementare dopo aver fatto il check-out e mentre aspettavamo nel lobby. Negativo: abbiamo dovuto aspettare 10-12 minuti prima che la nostra stanza fosse pronta, e questo era già all'orario di check-in (arrivo circa 15:40). Mi aspettavo che la stanza fosse pronta quando arrivo. L'esperienza del colazione al secondo giorno è stata cattiva perché abbiamo dovuto aspettare 20-25 minuti prima di poter mangiare qualcosa, perché tutto era finito (arriviamo per colazione alle 09:45). Il personale della cucina era molto meno o troppo lento per soddisfare le esigenze degli ospiti, che non erano molti quando siamo arrivati. Quando abbiamo fatto una richiesta, era divertente, ma dovevamo cacciarli. I bagni erano sotto la media.

Rispetto a Hilton e un altro hotel a cinque stelle in Egitto.L'hotel di qualità di Casablanca è solo cinquecento, con precoce.Le strutture sono nuove, economiche e il personale di servizio è buono. Se vuoi vivere nel centro della città, puoi scegliere il negozio nel loro centro.
