A fantastic resort, this hotel would get five stars but for one issue. On the plus side: outstanding service by the wait staff; simple, clean rooms; a beautiful beach and pool area; outstanding food across the board; a wonderful, relaxing place to hang your hat for a few nights. To be improved: the kitchen service was slow, even at breakfast with very few other guests on site. Given that the hotel is fully priced, the hotel will benefit by focusing on faster kitchen time (one day we waited 45 minutes for breakfast). That said, we would DEFINITELY go back.

Booking was straightforward (though thru a local booking system and in Spanish). Arrival and check in was quite simple. The host was present and attentive with all relevant information. The 1hr boat ride was easy and a nice departure from the old town. Our time at the beach was easy going and the service was very good. I would recommend to anybody looking for a day out at a secluded beach with no hassles.

BUYER BEWARE!! This hotel has been SHUT DOWN by Colombian police! They have been operating without permits or licenses!! If you book you probably WON’t get your money back you will 100% NOT be able to stay there! The police decree posted on the walls is in the pictures BUYER BEWARE!!

This is what paradise must be like. We went on a day trip visit, but I will most definitely return as a hotel guest. We arrived by car and boat, you can also do the whole visit by boat. You arrive at a very quiet unspoiled, uncrowded beach. You are supplied with very comfortable beds, towels, welcome drink and are thoroughly looked after throughout the day. We had a superb lunch and just spent the day lazing in these most beautiful surroundings. Our guide who looked after us Monica Marie, helped us enormously and I or one cannot wait to return.

We came to Sabai as a daytrip by boat. We had a spectacular time. The beach is just gorgeous and the pool is very large, with ample space for everyone. There weren't too many people there, either, which made it feel intimate. Our drink server, Kevin, was also great. There's also no annoying vendors around trying to rip you off and mess with the vibe. The only hitch we ran into was getting charged twice for our day stay. I tried contacting the hotel to get them to cancel the charge but after three days just cancelled it through our credit card. The hotel eventually responded to me but by that time I'd already taken care of it.

Sabai Beach Hotel Isla Baru Full service and I dont talk about the restaurant 930231826 5 star service and I don't talk about the restaurant. Great selection of staff! just a bit pricey for USD 5000. Found him at a more luxurious hotel where he was working before but now hot boys on the island ready to serve you! not worth the 5k USD but definitely hot. condoms are not included so you will need to bring your own. for USD 5000 I would have expected a little more appreciation!

Amazing!! Excellent place to relax with the family. They keep the vibe very chill and relaxing. No loud music or anything like that. Perfect place to be with the family or with your partner on a romantic getaway. Maria Alejandra, the owner, was extremely attentive and her staff was just excellent with us. Cocktails are delicious and the food is excellent!

Amazing and beautiful beach… far for everywhere … calm and relax I went with my family … quiet .. relax .. amenities .. good food… 1 hour from the centre of Cartagena and 15 more minutes in a small boat … actually you can see the mangrove ecosystem.

It is an hotel quite remote and we didn’t realise that once booked. You can only arrive by taxi plus boat. That oblige you to book with the Hotel that charges you what they want. Room clean and people friendly but all very very basic! You communicate mostly by WhatsApp for everything even when you want to order food. In the room there are not a lot of facility but the shock was No hot shower and that was a huge problem for us! Food excellent but limited menu and very slow to serve if more than 3 tables waiting. You eat and you stay surrender by dogs that following you everywhere even in the room! I like dogs but I wish I knew it was a hotel with dogs. There is Dog poo everywhere and we step on it more then once taking poo in the room! That disappointed us a lot considering the price we paid we didn’t want to spend our day looking under our shoes or worst beard feet!
