Our cozy 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation home is nestled in the heart of Maine's mountain country, close to Sugarloaf Ski Resort and a short walk to the Narrow Gauge trail for hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and fly fishing.This awesome location is less than 10 minutes to the base of Sugarloaf and provides easy access right off rt 27. The SugarBowl Restaurant is right next door for bowling, food, bar, golf simulator and arcade.Don't worry about parking or driving to the resort – simply hop on the valley shuttle, which stops at The Sugarbowl.After a day on the slopes or trails, unwind in our comfortable living space, complete with an open concept kitchen, dining, and living area, as well as a large deck. You will also find a bunkroom, full bathroom, and one bedroom with a king bed upstairs. Down stairs you will find another bedroom with a queen bed, full bathroom with laundry, and bonus game room with shuffle board, dartboard, pub table, large sectional couch and flat screen tv. The upstairs living room has two sofa beds (one twin & one double) & in the downstairs gameroom the sectional couch is also a sleeper sofa (double). This is a full house, tons of sleeping room and bathrooms to host larger groups and families. We have it priced so even a small group can enjoy a large spacious house. SHUTTLE ROUTE: Can be the first spot to pick up which would be 10min shuttle to the base. Or last pickup which is 7 minutes to the base so real convenient! Large back yard, 8 private parking spots, large farmers porch and full kitchen. Open concept to entertain with flat screens and Sonos speakers all around! We have an XL newer hot tub, that is open year round. During Summer, it is HOT on the mountain so we have heat pumps throughout so it’s cool. Back yard has a smokeless firepit. At the end of the day ski right home or stop at the base for après, you can ski right home from there too. The condo features a full kitchen and bathroom. Washer/dryer on-site. Parking is on-site. For dining, the Shipyard Brewhaus is just steps away. The base area is also a short walk or free shuttle ride away. There you can find the Bag, the Widowmaker, Mas Amigos, D’Ellies, Java Joe's and multiple other dining and shopping options. The shuttle will also take you to the Rack Brew Pub & Grill or anywhere else you would like to go on the mountain, for free! Also close by is the Sugarloaf Fitness Center where you can find an indoor pool, saunas, a weight room and more (for a charge). The Sugarloaf Outdoor Center also offers options outside of downhill such as XC skiing, snowshoeing and many walking trails. 800 sq ft- Beautiful, quaint cabin in heart of Carrabassett Valley. Centrally located two miles from Sugarloaf Outdoor Center with access to unlimited snow shoeing, nordic skiing, hiking and biking in the summer. Biking access to Outdoor Center 1/8th mile from cabin. Six miles to Sugarloaf Mountain, the largest vertical mountain on the east coast. Property has all cooking and living amenities: Propane heat and heat pumps, microwave, oven, stove, sink with hand washing station with hand pump. Cabin offers a unique experience to disconnect and sample off grid living. It features 2 composting toilets 1 a true outhouse down the connected boardwalk off the porch. There is no potable or running water, just a small hand washing station, so please remember to bring/purchase water to drink! There is a local convenience store just down the road.We completely understand the need for showers and relaxation after a day in the natural elements. We will provide up to 2 sugarloaf spa passes, total of 30 dollars, for any stay over 2 nights. Please let us know at the time of booking if you are interested in spa passes so that we can arrange in advance. Things to bring: Sheets or sleeping bag, pillow, potable water. Warm blankets are provided.
