I can’t comment on the actual room because we never got that far. We reserved our room a month in advance. We planned to stay 3 days/2 nights. We arrived at the hotel at 2:30 and was informed our room was not ready yet. According to the emails we received and the paper posted in their office, check-in is at 2 and check-out is 11. The office worker said to come back at 3:30. It wasn’t a big deal so we decided to just go hang out at the beach and come back a little while later. We returned around 3:50 and was told yet again that our room was not ready. The lady then stated they had changed the check-in time to 4. Well, considering it was 3:50 and they still weren’t even in the room cleaning it yet, it still wouldn’t be ready for even a 4 o’clock check-in. She had also failed to mention the first time we came that check-in was supposedly changed to 4. The office worker was unapologetic and was not willing to fix the issue, and stated “Well, what do you want me to do about it?” Would not take accountability for the fact that check-in is advertised everywhere as 2, even though it had been changed to 4 and they failed to edit that change in their postings. We believe they decided to sale our room to someone else for more money because it ended up being a really nice, warm (84F on Friday), busy beach weekend and we had gotten the room for a cheaper price since we had reserved it a month in advance. They stated they do not give refunds for any reason, so we called our credit card company and they will be getting our money refunded. We will not be returning to do business with them in the future.
